Can I play GTA V online without the 8GB?
I have a 4GB slim and I dont really care for the story mode. I just want to play online, and Im wondering if thats in any way possible without downloading the 8GB? Thanks

As is? No. You'll need more storage. I want to say you need about 8GB. If you don't want to buy a bigger xbox hard drive, get a pin drive that has 16 or more gigabytes (to play it safe) or an external drive (with really any amount of storage, like 500GB or 1TB), format it to FAT32, and your Xbox will be able to save games and save states to it. It's a cheaper alternative to buying a new Xbox hard drive. And, to make it better, you can take an external (or really any storage device for that matter) and designate a certain portion of it for Xbox memory. So if you have a terabyte hard drive, you can make 750GB dedicated to xbox storage and still keep the remaining 250GB for your own needs. Pretty cool!Thanks for the request, hope this helped!

A2AI'll start of by saying that the game is memory hungry. The game is designed to look up a lot of 3d rigs and other resources for displaying the map and the environment. This ultimately results in the game asking for a considerable amount of memory. Also the other problem which a lot of PC users are facing is memory leak. This means that the game utilities a certain resource. That means, it loads the thing in the memory. And once the thing is used, the game fails to free the memory. Thus piling up the memory with stuff which is no longer needed. I personally face this issue a lot of times. Moving forward. We can however still find out a way through this by using a special mod made to make the game run even on low end PCs.Here is the link to that mod.

If you're on an X-Box, then you will need a disc because of the system of how the disc is ran. Any other systems, you wont need it, but it may annoy you how much the screen of it will pop up(Or if that is just for me), because my PS3 was bought for $20 at a yardsale. Good luck.

NO 4 GB is not enough.I have a 4 GB xbox 360 and 4 GB is enough if you want to play games like WWE. However, if you want to play big games like GTA 5, 4 GB is not enough, because GTA 5 for xbox 360 needs to install some files in your console, in fact you get 2 discs when you buy GTA 5, Disc 1 is for installing the files and disc 2 is for playing the game. The game recommends at least 8 GB of free space. To play the game I used a 16 GB Sandisk pen drive.Some games like NFS rivals, can only be installed if you have the xbox 360 hard drive, the game does not support pen drives and cannot be installed in the system space(4 GB) as the installation files are 8 GB.
