Are TOMS shoes worth it?
TOMS don't last long. I would get shoes that are BOTH comfy, trendy, AND last long. There are lots of shoes that must be trendy in your school. I know TOMS are trendy in my school but not everyone wears them. Some people in my school wears Vans, Nike, flats, reebok, etc. I would get some running shoes or sneakers or cute flats PLUS you can't really get active like jog or play sports in them. TOMS are more for like going out. And it only looks good on people with thin legs in my opinion, TOMS are like 50 dollars at Nordstrom, But with sneakers or running shoes, anybody and pull it off and also they are cheaper (depends what shoes you get actually) Flats, they ARE MUCH CUTER than TOMS. Toms are plain and simple with a little tag. Flats can have bows, silver, gold, etc. Unless you get the TOMS with designs or glitter. If you wear TOMS to school for 5 days straight, walking to each period. Your feet will get MAJOR sores. And you can't wear socks with Toms (well you can but it would look silly). I am 5'6 and wear 8 size, and my feet look OK. no one at school insults my feet, Sorry this is too much. ;)
TOMS or Sanuks? which shoes should i get?
so i'm trying to decide whether i should order the red canvas classic toms: http://www.toms.com/womens/red-canvas-classics-shoes or the sanuk donnas: http://www.sanuk.com/donna the thing is, i can see myself wearing the sanuks during the summer, but i feel like if i wore them with jeans to school they would be seen as tacky, not as hippy-ish. and everyone has toms, so idk if i want to fall into that trend.. opinions? thanks.
TOMS, ROXY, VANS OR KEDS SHOES?
vans (16) they r comfortable and have alot of style. even plain ones. toms are comfortable and simple but they look cheap and i can see them going out of style. they r like slippers
Are Toms shoes worth it? How do they hold up?
I have a black pair and I like them! They aren't your all weather shoe but they are comfy! I usually only end up wearing mine in the spring and summer though. If you don't abuse them they will last you quite a while. The sizing is fairly true to size. They do have a bit of give to them but they aren't super stretchy. I think they look really cute as a casual shoe. They can dress up an outfit better then a flip flop can. I think one pair is worth the money.

1. They last pretty long, if you wear them well. And since you don't have recess or anything, you won't be walking around as much so the bottom won't wear out as fast. 2. Do NOT wear Toms in rainy weather. They are not platform shoes so you may slip. But if water gets on them, they do soak it up, but they don't leave a permanent mark. Also. I got mines at Nordstrom, and they were selling waterproof spray to help make your Toms last longer in wet places. 3. You don't really need to clean them because like I said, since you don't have recess, there's really no need for them to get dirty. I once got mud on mines, but I washed it off with some water and an old toothbrush. If you use that technique, don't scrub so hard or some color will fade. (Barely noticeable.) 4. TOMS ARE SO COMFORTABLE. I love them. :) People often say they're like socks. But if you wear them like... forever, the whole day, your feet will most likely hurt. If the weathers hot and you're walking around a lot, your feet will probably sweat. They sell socks that look like ballet flats. 5. YES, I am obsessed with them. Toms are pretty tough and they last pretty long. And they also look very nice. ;)
