For translations to one of Tolkien's Elven languages (Sindarin and Quenya) you should either ask someone who knows them or do it yourself. Can someone please translate this grammatically correct? (into Elvish script)?
It would be awesome if someone could translate the quote, "But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come and when the sun shines, it will shine out the clearer" into Elvish script. I tried learning the language so I could find the grammatically correct way to translate this into an Elvish script instead of tattooing random gibberish onto my body, but I sadly, do not have the time.

@Máistir Íoróin: That's not Tolkien Elvish, that's Grey Company Elvish. And it's odd, too. (amin - I; en - look (an exclamation though) OR of; ten' - because, for; -ra - great) Well, for this phrase you have basically two options. You either simply transcribe the English line in Tolkien's Tengwar script, or you translate it to his High-Elven tongue Quenya. Grey-Elven Sindarin is no option because it lacks certain words for "go", "seek", and "perhaps". In Quenya you could say: "Meninye cestien alta cenasit" (I go to seek a great perhaps) Vocabulary/Grammar: men- - go; Aorist tense (=timeless truth) meni- - go -nye - I cesta- - seek, search for; gerund cestie - seeking, searching for -n - for, to; dative case ending Gerund+dative are generally used to express long infinitives: cestien - to seek, for seeking alta - great, large cenasit - perhaps, if it be so, may be; this is a adverb, so the use as a noun is uncertain There's no indefinite article in Sindarin/Quenya. I'm doing an artpiece for a friend of mine who adores Lord of the Rings. I wanted to write something in Elvish, but I have NO idea how to do so. I have two phrases that I would like translated "I will always remember you" and "May the Valar keep you and the stars shine on your path" I need it in the script form as seen written in the book, not as a romanization. For a tattoo I recommend to use the original name simply written in Tolkien's Elven script Tengwar. His languages are incomplete and due to that translations are often imprecise. Is "aranel" the correct translation in elvish for "princess"?

Quenya is one of the two main elven languages Tolkien created (the other is Sindarin which does not have a word for princess except the reconstructed (i.e. arguable) riel). You need to know in which Elvish language a word is because there are differences in spelling for each language in Tengwar. For aranel this is not as important (it's more important for consonant clusters such as nd, mb, ...) but still useful.
