Traveling With My Car With Limo Tint

Would you tint your car windows?

Many different tint shades are available. It would only look ridiculous if you go with a super dark tint like the limo tint.

Can you see through a tinted window of a car?

Certainly. Car Window Tinting allows visibility from inside but not from outside. This is the whole point of getting windows tinted. The mirror tint works on the principle that normally one side of where you put the tint is darker than the other side. On the bright side, the particles reflect the light and you can't see through because of the reflection. However, on the dark side there is less to reflect. Also because the tint does not stop 100% of the light, so you are on the dark side not only is there less to reflect, but light it coming through and allows you to see out.During night if you look at the same window that is tinted and inside is illuminated you will now be able to see inside.

The U.S. President travels in the Air Force One. How do the cars used by him and the Secret Service travel?

The transport is not always a C17 due to logistics and numerous reasons.  There are several sets of all the vehicles pre-positioned in various parts of the world.  In some cases overseas, an event can be more than 30 vehicles.  There are numerous armored vehicles of different models, that can furnish specialized roles. There are backups for backups and the planning is both precise and in depthPOTUS is not always on a 747, but whatever aircraft it always has the same Call Sign.It is not always a Cadillac, as there are several vehicles that POTUS is transported in.  Even if there are Cadillacs in the motorcade(s), the POTUS may not be in any of them. What stands out is how many have US License plates.A lot of the show is changed from equipment and vehicles to times and process, as needs require and to reduce risk.Having worked some of these events a long time ago, it has likely changed significantly   This is a case where TV, Wikipedia and others are not factually wrong, just not how its done most of the time.

Is there any car window tinting that is dark from the outside but light on the inside?

The quick answer is yes. Many high performance HP and metalized films are dark. .or reflective from the exterior while inside the drive can see out. This create a one way mirror effect. There are limits, of course since the darker the film or the more interior reflection you get; the harder it may be to see at NIGHT.

Hope that helps, but obviously window films do let people see out, just like Limo Tint - -but the outside view in is obscured.

If you have a leased car can you still tint your windows and add a sound system?

Sure. And if you decide to buy it at the end of the lease you will still own all your upgrades. If you turn it in it will go with the vehicle and there is a chance they will charge you for the things you added and the costs to return it to stock condition.

Can a cop make me get out of my car for my illegal window tint?

Yeah, he can make you get out of the car for your illegal window tint. He can't see what you're doing in there, like if you're reaching for a gun or something like that. It's a matter of the officer's safety.

And wouldn't you rather be asked to remove the tint right then and there than to have the car towed away?

Is 15-20% Window Tint really dark?

I would first recommend finding out what the local laws are on window tint, because some states have regulations on how dark the tint can be. And it wouldn't be fun to get a ticket just because your window tint is too dark. In Colorado, for example, you can't be darker than 27% on all windows, OR you can tint the rear windows as dark as you want as long as the front windows are not tinted. I would talk to a local tinting shop, because they are required to know the laws, and there should also be a guide online somewhere I would think, if you google it. In fact, you're in luck, I was able to find a magazine that came out several years ago with a 50 state guide to regulations to vehicle modifications. OH laws on tint (mind you, this is dating back to 2003 when the magazine was published), tint cannot go below the AS1 line, or 5" on the windshield, And can be no more than 25% tint front and rear windows.

Can you take your driving test using a tinted window car?

If you want to fail.
