What are good tv shows like Dexter and Breaking Bad?
You might like 'Ray Donovan' (Just premiered last year so only one season so far, but its a good action-packed Showtime drama with well-developed characters and an entertaining script). I haven't seen Rookie Blue yet, but 'The Killing' on AMC is a dark police drama. I think it's way under appreciated, but it's suspenseful and psychological and the two lead characters are really likeable. Something a little more sci-fi like 'Falling Skies' is 'Orphan Black' from BBC. The lead actress is seriously phenomenal (I cannot stress this enough; her acting is amazing) and the storyline is unique. Another kind of creepy, suspenseful show is A&E's 'Bates Motel', based off Hitchcock's 'Psycho'. Vera Farmiga (from The Departed) is a lead character and does a great job of being a character you love to hate. Hope you find something you can enjoy! :)

His boss, Jack Crawford, has a psychiatrist named Hannibal Lecter evaluate Will Graham's psychological well being, but they don't know that Hannibal Lecter is a cannibalistic serial killer. - True Detective Season 1: In the first Season of True Detective, two detectives, Marty Hart and Rustin Cohle, find a woman's body in a field. She has strange tattoo's, is left naked, and put in a praying position with antlers on her head. Rust is convinced it's a serial killer and so the detectives set out to find the killer. They catch who they think is the murderer, but many years later they learn that there are more bodies showing up that are being killed in similar ways, and so they team up again to finally catch the real killer. Shows like Breaking Bad: - Better Call Saul: This is a no-brainer. it's a spin-off of Breaking Bad, after all. The show focuses on Walt and Jesse's lawyer in Breaking Bad, Saul Goodman. The show takes place before the events of Breaking Bad, when Saul was going by the name James McGill. - The Wire: The Wire isn't really "like" Breaking Bad, but it also focuses on the drug trade, but has a much wider view of it. Rather than just showing it from the criminals point of view (with a little of the DEA), The Wire shows the drug trade and it's effects from many points of view. Such as the dealers, the crime bosses, the detectives, the police bosses, politicians, addicts, school children, the newspapers, the harbor docks, etc. - Narcos: Based on true events, Narcos focuses on two DEA agents as they attempt to bring down the Medellin Cartel. The show also focuses on drug kingpin, Pablo Escobar.

Hi guys. I want to watch more shows about main characters that do evil things (or borderline evil things) but still make the audience root for them. Main characters that are either evil or are borderline evil and their actions effect innocent people. I really enjoyed Breaking Bad, House of Cards, and Dexter. I want to watch more shows like these.
