How can I downgrade lollipop to kitkat?

For downgrading from Lollipop to KitKat, you will need a factory image of KitKat for your phone which can be flashed via fastboot mode. Usually, downgrading via recovery mode leads to a soft brick and hence fastboot is the only option. In some cases, the bootloader also gets updated when the phone is updated to Lollipop. It is risky to downgrade the bootloader back to the KitKat one as has a high chance of causing a hard brick. So, avoid flashing the boot partition back to the old one.Getting a stock fastboot rom can be a bit tough for unpopular devices. So, I suggest you look around for firmware and device specific instructions on Google or xda-developers forum. Downgrading is a risky process and can lead to soft/hard bricks easily if done incorrectly. If you are unsure about how to do it even after reading device specific instructions on a website, don't do it!P.S: Some phones like Samsung phones have download mode instead of fastboot mode. For that, you need to download the appropriate firmware file and use an application called Odin to flash it.

What is the best smart phone a 21 year old Indian student from a middle class family of 4 with an income of 9000 could buy?

The data you gave me in no way tells me the main thing: what is your budget for the smartphone? Since you haven't told me anything about that, I'm giving you the best in ranges which I think will be good for you:1. Below 6k - Xiomi Redmi 1S (forget about all the controversy regarding data being sent back to China)2. Incase you don't get it due to lack of availability, go for Moto E.These 2 phones are the best value for money in this range. In case you're feeling a bit adventurous, you can go for Moto G though I will advise you to buy anyone from the above 2. In case you aren't in a position to afford these two, I'd say wait till you can save up the money. Buying other sets aren't of much value. Hope this helps.
