Usps package not delivered but says it was delivered?
I am a USPS employee and can answer your question with confidence. I do apologize that the previous response was so inaccurate. If an item is marked delivered, and you have not received it, you will need to call 1-800-ASK-USPS and ask them to open a CASE so they can contact the delivery unit responsible for further information. You should receive a call back regarding the issue within 2 business days. There are plenty of instances where a package marked delivered, but not received, has been recovered and properly given to the addressee. Good Luck!
USPS says item was delivered, but it wasn't?
I bought something from Amazon and expected it to be here today since the estimation date was today. Also it said it is was out for delivery and the tracking said it was delivered but I was here all day and there is nothing at my door or garage. The box is too big to fit in the mailbox so what happened? I don't think anyone stole it either because my neighborhood is practically dead lol, but yeah. Is it lost? Do I have to go to the post office or wait another day? Please HELP! USPS.com says my item was delivered but it wasn't?
THis actually happened to me once from a purchase from Amazon.com. What happened is that the mail man dropped off all the mail, scanned the package as delivered and ended up taking it back to the Post Office and ended up being delivered 2 days later. But the best thing is to call the local office and give them the tracking number. The package might be there and they can hold it for you until you pick it up. You can even call the main customer service number and file a complaint. USPS tracking Package says delivered but not here ?
I ordered 2 items / shoes worth $160- $170 each . The first one said it arrived last week but I didn't hear any door bell ring or a knock and on the tracking thing it said that they left a note (which they did not ). Then it said it arrived at door step 4 days ago and I still haven't seen anything yet. The second item was suppose to arrive today but it wasn't on my door step and I've heard a lot of stories about usps not delivering or tying avoid the problem but I don't want to let $300+ go to waste . I'm pretty sure the people I bought the shoes from won't give me another pair for free . And I do believe the people I bought from sent it because I've ordered clothes and other items off of them . I have proof of sending payment and have the tracking / shipping receipt . Is there anything I can do to get my package for sure ?
USPS: what's it mean when a package says "out for delivery" but it's not delivered?
My package has say out for deliver since this morning. Well my mail came, and my package wasn't in there. I went to check to see if it said delivered and it still says out for delivery. Did they lose it? What's going on?
The tracking for my USPS package says "Delivered, Parcel Locker". What does that mean and where is the parcel locker?
You must receive your mail in a community box (CBU)or a PO BOX inside the Post Office. If it’s a CBU then your carrier should of left a key with a # (1–9)or a letter(A-Z) on it or it may have both(1P or 2P), depends on your carrier. The parcel lockers are located in a couple different places depends on the what type of CBU you have & how large an area they cover. If you just have one CBU at your location then look at the bottom and there will be 2 lockers there(1P & 2P). Your key should match one of those & it always goes in the top lock. In some situations there are detached parcel lockers which may be located beside the CBU. Same goes for these, just match the key to the locker & always goes in top lock. By the way, the key stays in the lock after you get your package out. I hope this helps.
EBay/PayPal item not received but usps says delivered?
Unless your seller used Express Mail, there is no tracking number. Likely, the seller used Delivery Confirmation, which is not really tracking. Check with other family members and possibly neighbors and ask about the package. Make a report about the missing package at http://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/... also call your local law enforcement to report the theft. Also call your Post Office to make sure that the carrier scan of "Delivered" is accurate. Mistakes happen and they may have meant something else and mistakenly entered delivered for the event scan.
Why does USPS tracking say delivered if I did not receive the package?
Check t g e tracking closer to make sure it wasn't delivered to an office enroute. If that's not the case then another possibility is the carrier erroneously scanned all his packages as delivered as he was leaving to deliver his route and he just hasn't delivered it to you that day yet.
