Vegans I Have A Question

Question for vegans?

I'm vegan. I have been for almost 4 years.
I'm vegan because I believe the animal industry is cruel. And don't want to give money to those who abuse and kill animals.
I'd love to travel in the future.
One place I'd love to go to is Japan.
Issue is there's not many vegan options in Japan. Basically everything is made with some sort of fish. Even things like miss soup, vegetable soups, sauces, etc...
I was thinking if I end up going to Japan I'd just not eat milk, eggs, and do my best to avoid meat. But if something contains a tiny amount of fish I'd eat it. Like if I go to a restaurant or something. Since most Asians are lactose intolerant dairy will be easy to avoid. Since there's a lot of food without milk. And eggs can probably be easily avoided too. I can just say I'm allergic to eggs.
It's against my beliefs to eat animals.. I hate that so many cow's, pigs, fish, sheep, chickens, etc die each year!
But fish there is literally is almost all foods. And that sucks!
Would it be wrong for me to eat tiny amounts of animal products (fish) while I'm there since it's so hard to avoid foods without any?

I'd be eating mostly vegan

My fellow vegans, what are your views on this? Is it wrong? Should I just not go to Japan and just go to other places instead?

Vegans: question for you.?

Long time strict vegetarian here, not full on vegan but I very much care about animals. This morning I am thinking about used wool and leather, silk etc. If bought new, it contributes to the cruel exploitation, so that's a no go. But what is your stance on second hand items like from thrift stores such as salvation army, etc? When you think about it, buying it used does not give any money to the animal industry but actually gives to local people on need. The animal was already killed and used to make the product which someone then took that item and gave it away even though there is still use in it. Isn't it disrespectful to the animal and nature to let something like that go to waste? It is worse to kill and waste than to kill and use... So it seems, is is a kinder act to use the thrown out products, not to let them go to wastre. Better for nature and the animal that was sacrificed. Thoughts? :)

Weird question about vegans.?

I know it sounds like a weird question, and its nothing meant to insult anyone or anything, I am trying to become a vegan, its just something I noticed on quite a few occasions. Every vegan I have ever met that was white, was like a different color of white, not really pale, but not really a normal white complexion either, kind of like in between.

Also every vegan I have ever met had glassy kind of eyes, not like they were stoned, but more like icey colored. Like if they had blue eyes, they were light blue and kind of glassy. Same with green and hazel. If they had brown eyes they almost seemed kind of grayish, but still brown. It might just be a coincidence, but still kind of weird they were all vegan.

I have a question for all my Vegans! :) Come to my rescue?

If you are thinking about oil, you can ask simple questions like "What oil do you fry in?" and "Do you fry meat in the same oil as the fries?"

Don't worry!! There's no need to panic about the fries that you ate last weekend. Just make changes and ask those simple questions. Undoubtedly there are going to be times when an animal product is lurking in your food. Don't make a big deal of it though, you can send it back if you want.

Watch out for things with gelatin, lecithin (unless it's soy), glycerin (unless it says veg. glycerin), lard, whey, casein, albumen, eggs, etc.

If you go to a store, make sure you are checking all ingredients for anything suspicious.

Gluten-free vegans...I have some questions for you:?

I have been on an allergy elimination diet for over two months now so I have been avoiding a whole list of foods including gluten. I find that there is a brown rice substitute for pretty much any gluten product. One of my favorites is brown rice and spinach pasta. I swear it's better than conventional! The best thing to do when buying foods that are carbs is to make sure that they are complex unrefined carbs. Ingredients like "stone ground brown rice" are good. If you are getting bloated from rice and beans, could you be intolerant to legumes as well? I would rotate foods and see what the problem is.
One food that you have to watch out for is mustard and other products that contain vinegar as they sometimes use vinegar from gluten which is strange because most of the vinegar that I use for cooking is gluten free.

And no, I have not lost any weight since going gluten free, nor do I feel any better...

Lady Question! Vegan, and breast development?

Hello. I'm seventeen years old, and been vegetarian since I was 14 years old to about 15, and since 15, been a vegan.
Right around just turning 14, I had an eating disorder for about 4 -5 months. After recovering, I wanted to find a guide, to help me be more aware of my health, and nurishing your body.
I have rather small breasts, about AA-A cup size. Also, I don't have any cleavage, or shape to them, not "under-cleavage". I have become very aware of this.
I was thinking. If being a vegan had anything to do with this?

All my mom and dad's sides of the family have women with at least a C cup, and some DD!
I'm the only vegan in the family, and I have the smallest breasts.

What should I do?
is there certain foods i should include in my diet?
Should I become a lacto- or ovo-vegetarian?
Are there any natural, organic supplements I should take?
Should I eat more protein?

How can help my breasts grow while I have a few more teen years?
