What brake services does Walmart provide?
I believe a Walmart with a shop does full maintenance - rotor/drum replacement, pad/shoe replacement, line flush, etc. They probably won't be able to machine rotors though.From personal experience, I wouldn't have any work done at Walmart, nor most quick-lube style places. Best is if you can find a good mechanic and have him do everything on your car.That said, if you're handy at all, most brake jobs are really simple, and as long as you go slow and use some sense, it can save you quite a bit. A full brake job costs less than $100 in materials if you order from a good, inexpensive part supplier (I use Rock Auto), and even if you don't have any tools, you can get everything you need on sale for under $250. Just one brake job can cost more.
My car breaklights wont turn off?
look above the brake pedal under the dash and see if you do not see a switch that has come out of its bracket. if it has, that is the problem. the switch is ont that is normally closed. when pressure is applied to it, the switch opens the circuit and turns the lights off.
Walmart Oil change, now my car is leaking and overheating?
The radiator drain valve and, I believe, the lower radiator hose are on that side, depending on the make and model. Was the leak green, orange or ? Green or orange is coolant. Fresh oil is a clear light brownish. Transmission fluid is red. If the oil was full when you arrived home then it is probably coolant and cause for overheating. Check the radiator, (not the expansion tank), when cold. If it is low, you fill it and it leaks - you cannot drive it until it is repaired.
2001 ford taurus brake lights won't turn off?
If the third brake light is on with the other lights, yep, it's probably the brake light switch... The recall Ford Gal said however only is good for those with adjustible pedals for that year (call Ford and see if it's part of the campaign) If not, you are looking at replacement of the switch and him having to feel comfortable with minor wiring using a crimp tool (available at walmart and autozone)
Why do alot of people say walmart bikes are crap?
belive what you want the only thing i do is basic tune up adjusting brakes adjusting deraullers and cables never replaced anything exsept the tires and i bought thoose used of ebay i buy a new set of tires and tubes every year but thats basic stuff i have never had it break while riding never had to replace anything but tires and tubes
Who sells the cheapest tires? Walmart or Discount Tires?
I checked both because I need new tires and I found a difference of $8 per tire with discount tires being the cheapest. BUT Walmart quoted Goodyear tires that were good for 60,000 miles and Discount tires were a brand I never heard of that were good for 40,000 miles. The installation was about the same price.
