How does your Tamil handwriting look like?

Well, having Telugu as my mother tongue, I have immense respect and love to Tamil and Tamil Literature.Tamil has a beautiful script which I have adopted to a large extent.Let me show you what I have written today (with my own hands)! The above poem is one of Subramaniya Barathiyar’s epic writings which portrays feminism.I also took Xerox copies of my 12th standard Tamil Paper. Attaching screenshots below:Tamil Paper - I - 8 mark question:Teachers who are evaluating Tamil Papers usually give 7.5 marks as highest to the above 8 mark question. They purposely reduce 0.5 marks if the candidate has secured 100 percentile.Hope you liked it :)My friends often pull my legs stating that I have girl’s handwriting :D (Even boys have good handwriting :P)But, I’m happy that I have got this beautiful handwriting by nature.Edit: Thank you so much guys! Never received such appreciations :)Image Source: My GalleryHemanth Prasath

Is it safe to cut yourself with a pencil sharpener blade?

1-800-273-TALK (8255) or contact theCrisis Text Line by texting TALK to 741741Self harm is and will never be a “safe” solution to anything. You would be hurting your body, which is the opposite of being safe. If you feel the need to self harm you should call a help line or a crisis text line or just tell someone who can help calm you down.I want you to keep yourself safe, if not for others but for yourself. Try to keep busy if you feel like self harming, or draw where you want to selfharm. You can also put bandaids or other medical supplies where you want to hurt yourself, skip the self harm and start with self care. But if you do insist on it, make sure to sanitize and disinfect any and all tools or sharps you use. Wash the area you want to cut before and after, staunch and clean up the blood, if it's deep, use butterfly closure tapes or steri-strips. Make sure you clean them daily until healed, keep them covered with gauze or something else. I've used paper towels, toilet paper, old clothes that won't be missed and tissues before.Blades vary in sharpness, pencil sharpener blades found in expensive art kits are very sharp and easy to remove and grip. Most are steel and have one rounded corner that I find make them easier to hold.Use antibacterial ointments, neosporin, or any others you can get your hands on. Walgreens has cheap medical tape, gauze and various other items that can keep you safe while cutting. If you buy a field med kit, they sometimes have scalpels, which are always sterile until you open the packaging and are extremely sharp. You may even find one if you buy the right science experiment kit.Whatever you decide to do, stay safe while doing it.(Don't hold a blade over a flame, it will turn black and sooty and it will not wash off and becomes dull)
