Where is there a bt shop in the south of england?

I am sure that all the BT high street shops were closed a number of years ago. The only way you can purchase directly from BT is to use their online shop http://bt-shop.broadband-tv-phone.com/ho... but many of the large retailers like Dixons, Currys, etc: sell BT products.

Where are good places to buy English reading materials in Shanghai?

1.In some of the downtown residential areas where foreigners reside there are often booksellers outside supermarkets with a cart of pirated books. Generally decent print quality though limited selection of classics, economics books, management books and best sellers. 10-15 RMB/ea usually2. If you're after something more specific Amazon.cn has some English offerings but I usually go for bookdepository.co.uk. They offer reliable and free worldwide shipping with a very wide selection and good prices (much cheaper than international Amazon when you factor in postage and packing)

Where is the best place to find lingerie in England? Something like Victoria's Secret.?

You don't say where you will be living in the UK, but a good start are department stores like the aforementioned Marks and Spencer. Department store Debenhams stocks the reasonably-priced La Senza and a number of other brands, and John Lewis may also stock lingerie that appeals to her.

On the High Street, you'll find lingerie shops like Contessa and Knickerbox.

I personally love Rigby & Peller and Agent Provocateur, who admittedly are a bit more high-end. Both have shops only in London, but they do provide online shopping.

Other than that, I would recommend having a look at the online directory for the area in which you will live, and see if the stores listed have websites - this should give you a good idea of what they stock. Enjoy your stay in the UK!

What are the best places to shop online UK for men's clothing?

As a mildly impoverished media intern & musician in NYC, I don't have a lot of money to spend on clothes. But I still harbor a fascination with men's fashion (I took design classes at city college while I was in high school), which is why I'm always looking for affordable ways to dress well. Here are a couple of things I do. I get the email newsletter from http://jackthreads.com, which is a totally low-maintenance and low-cost way to keep up with trends. They send out fully interactive lists of what's on sale and what to match it with. Perfect for a busy, underfunded Brooklynite like myself. MR PORTER (a bit more expensive as the selection is generally full price) does a great job of curating their selection. They also produce their own editorial content which makes the the whole experience a bit more like reading a glossy magazine. Imagine picking up a copy of FANTASTIC MAN, and clicking "Buy" on the pieces you like.A couple more men's online shopping experiences (all beautifully designed and tastefully curated):TRĂˆS BIEN SHOP FIRMAMENThttp://www.farfetch.com/http://www.bluefly.com/ Note: signing up for newsletters is an easy way to keep up with trends and sales. Read them in your spare time, delete/archive them when you're busy/cash-poor.

Best place to buy bras in the uk?

I'm in Ireland, and used to wear M&S bras, and was measured there, but they got it so wrong, and I don't find the bras supportive at all. They measured me as a 40D, and I was actually a 36F. That may well have been the branch I went to, though. I think Primark is pretty bad too, actually, for support and fit.

Now, I go to department stores and get brand name bras. They're the only ones I've tried that actually offer proper support. Some of the names I like include Fayreform, Lepel, Panache and my ultimate favourite, Freya, made by Fantasie. Freya are targetted more towards the younger market, and have some really beautiful styles. Some of these can be expensive, but I think it's worth it not to be jiggling all over the place, as I do when I wear M&S bras. And if you keep an eye out in the sales, you can get some of those brand names for about 15-20 sterling, which isn't too bad.

Oh yes, and here are two websites I love:
http://www.bravissimo.com/ (for D cup and upwards)
http://www.figleaves.com/uk/home.asp (all sizes, I think).

And make sure you get properly measured, too - good luck!

Best place to buy basic dorm things in London?

So I'm a US girl who is going to an arts college on the south east side of London. To avoid shipping hassles, and the fact that I'd rather not buy things like an alarm clock and lamp here, to then ship them with expensive fees and then pay more to get adapters for each item, I'm just going to skip the trouble and buy them over there since I'll arrive a few days early.

But I know just about nothing about UK stores and where to shop and get things, I've looked up a few things but I cant find equivalents of my go to stores over there, and I'm a little bit lost on which places will give me good quality but not break my bank.

So to you UK knowledgeable, wheres a good place to buy:
Sheets
Pillows
Desk lamps
Alarm clocks
Mini fridge
Cook wear (I'm told it's a shared kitchen but each student brings their own pots and pans)

and other dorm needed things. I much appreciate the help : )
