What Are My Chances Of Getting Into Sfsu

What are my chances in getting into UCLA Law with a 3.3 GPA in history & mathematics from SFSU?

While you would not be disqualified from applying, your chances are not the best. An excellent LSAT score like 170 or above could give you some chance by counterbalancing the low gpa.Below are the average GPAs for the 25th, 50th and 75th percentile of applicants for the class of 2018. If you don’t understand the percentiles I’ll explain below.https://law.ucla.edu/about-ucla-...UCLA Law Percentiles: 3.52 / 3.72 / 3.8550% of admitted applicants have a 3.72 gpa or higher. The lower 25% of the class was admitted with an average of a 3.52 gpa. The top 25% of applicants or those in 75th percentile had an average gpa of 3.85 or higher. Again, these are averages meaning that there are people who scored higher and lower in these percentile ranges.I would say unless you have some really great life experience, work experiences, story and extraordinary talent, then I would start looking at other law schools lower in rank for back ups.

How hard is it to get into SFSU?

I'm from San Francisco. I can't give you specific numbers but purely for San Francisco natives, if you were a half-way competent student, you should have been accepted to SFSU. (I'm not sure about people from out of state, though.) So, no, I don't think it's a very hard school to get into, at least for people from San Francisco.

What are my chances of getting admission into the following universities for MS in CS - San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, and SFSU?

Hi, Being a Computer Engineering grad student at SJSU, and a past counselor for students seeking admission in higher education in technical fields in USA, I think I would be able to answer your question.Looking at your GRE and TOEFL scores, I feel you are a good candidate for SCU and SFSU. But, SJSU's expectations are growing and so are its demand for a better score in GRE after recently being into media for being ranked as the number 1 university in the west for silicon valley job providers. That being said, your academic scores and performance are not the only criteria which would land you the admission. Though your scores are competitive, admission decision makers takes into account your Statement of purpose (SOP) which should clearly indicate why you would want to do MS program at that particular university and not somewhere else. Strong letters of recommendations from your employers or past professors would add to your profile. With that information being delivered to you, I feel you should go ahead and apply with a strong SOP and atleast 3 recommendation letters.P.S. SJSU prefers CS undergrad students for MS in CS. If you don't have that, you would want to apply for MS in SE (Software Engineering) or MS in CMPE (Computer Engineering). P.P.S. Being a SJSU student, this answer might be a little biased towards SJSU.

Will SFSU revoke my admission?

I have fulfilled all the prerequisite courses with passing grades. my GPA is 2.7 unweighted and a 3.1 weighted as of now, my sat score was an 1820. However im in my senior year of high school and will likely get Fs in two courses im taking. What are the chances of my conditional admission being revoked? Is it not a big deal since i've already met the prerequisites?

How can I get into Stanford grad school for mathematics after going to SFSU?

Easy.Be one of the two or three best students in the SFSU mathematics department, ever. Have your professors chasing you down so that they can volunteer to write a Glowing letter of recommendation for you.Hopefully at least one of those three SFSU professors are professionally known by a Mathematics professor at Stanford, and besides the letter she/he calls her Stanford associate.Easy.Otherwise, go to a UC campus and get a Master in Mathematics and do the same thing there.

Is San Francisco state hard to get into?

In this economy, I imagine it would be tough for anyone outside of California to get in. But because you're only a sophomore right now, admission ought to be easier by the time you'll be applying (despite the rising popularity of the CSUs in comparison to UCs). As long as you keep an A-B average, you should be fine. I wouldn't get too carried away with community service and extracurricular stuff -- try to focus more on getting good grades and SAT scores. Also, when senior year comes around, apply for early admission, especially if you want to go into an impacted program.

Can I get into San Francisco state

Do you think I will be accepted into San Francisco State University?

You problem is your GPA. Both CSULB and SFSU are moderately easy schools to get into. The average SAT score at Long Beach is 960, while at SFSU it's 1,000 though the GPA was lower at SFSU (3.4 vs 3.1)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Francis...

All CSUs use the eligibility index, which basically combines your GPA and SAT score. They don't care about your extra curriculars or babysitting activities. If you didn't get into Long Beach, you many not get into SFSU.

Does anybody know how I can tell if i got accepted into San francisco state University yet?

I'm going to SFSU this fall and there's three ways for them to notify you if you got in. First, they will e-mail you. Second, they will mail you a package of papers with an acceptance letter and additional information brochures. Third, you can log in to your SFSU account, and your admission status should be updated. If it says incomplete, you should be able to tell what's missing. They break down the required forms all in that box, and they say what you have or have not sent in. Check again and see if you find what I'm talking about.

If you're really unsure, you can always just call the admissions office.
