What Are Some Big Moves That Occurred This Offseason

What is the biggest surprise of the 2018 NBA offseason?

There are two offseason moves so far that have stirred up a debate:Demarcus Cousins moved to Golden State in exchange for 5.3M USD: Cousins is considered by many as the best center in the league currently. That being said, his choice has sparked controversy , on the grounds that the Warriors seemed to have no opponent even without him. Now, every team is called to face an almost unbeatable team - the back to back NBA champions who recently added Demarcus Cousins. We may not know whether Cousins was in fact offered a contract from another NBA team or not. However, a lot of people have called Boogie “a coward” and “a ringchaser” , while others claim that he is either doing whatever it takes to win in a league full of competition or that he had no other option left. The criticism that this move has received, as well as the fact that it is a mind-blowing summer move by itself , are all it takes for it to be nominated for the “Biggest surprise of the 2018 offseason” Award!Lebron James signed with the Los Angeles Lakers: Lebron is the best player in the NBA currently. He had an astonishing season last year - possibly the best of his career - in spite of the fact that he is already 33 years old! Lebron is a valuable piece for any team in the league and his addition would have rendered evey team a contender for the NBA title. Had he joined Houston or Philly (as many wanted him to) things would be so different. Either Houston or Philly would be the favorites to win the NBA 2019 Finals. Nevertheless, he chose to take his talents to LA - something that he is not to be blamed for after all - and join a young core consisted of Ingram , Lonzo and Kuzma! Additionally, the Lakers signed Rondo , Beasley, Stephenson and McGee and all of them are experienced players. Many fans , though , hastened to question Lebron’s move: “Why LA and not Houston or Philly? “ . It’s too early to criticise and all we can do is wait and see how things turn out. No matter what, though, Lebron’s decision is automatically another nomination for the ““Biggest surprise of the 2018 offseason” Award! To my mind, these two are probably the most surprising moves and it is up to you to choose which is the most mind-blowing to you. To me , it is Lebron’s Decision 3.0 !

Who should the Yankees sign this off season?

Four of thier own up for FA:Happ, Bentances, Britton and McCutchen.I love CC, but his age is a bit much. Then grab the best starter on the market. Our position players can stack up with anybody; except starting pitching. Some big questions though: Is Volt for real? Was Sanchez a fluke? Gardner? Is Ellsbery's contract finally over.!!

Should the Yankees sign Bryce Harper in the 2018-19 offseason? Can he and Aaron Judge coexist since they both are rightfielders? Who moves to left?

Well…. this question has certain changed since the weekend…But my answer would be the same. No, the Yankees shouldn’t sign Harper. While Harper is one of signature players in the game today, and bringing him to New York would be probably the biggest baseball moves since the A-Rod deal, the Yankees have some other holes to fill. And even though there’s no salary cap and no shortage of money in New York, bringing just Harper without shoring up the bullpen or getting a third baseman and making sure Bird will stay healthy would just be another huge money move that likely wouldn’t pay the dividends expected. Harper would be a feather, but you wouldn’t have a cap to put it in…And now since it seems he may have shredded his knee this past weekend, he’s not going anywhere until people know that knee is 100%. Signing him to a big deal before he plays a season on that leg would be risky. However, to answer the remainder of the question, you’d absolutely move Judge to left field and play Harper in right. If healthy, Harper is one of the better right fielders in the game - Judge is there so they don’t have to DH him. He’s a passable right fielder with a plus arm, but overall Harper is a better fielder with a plus arm of his own.

What are the Yankees' plans for the off-season now that their playoff hopes are fading in 2014?

They are officially done.  Among their offseason decisions:Make an offer to Robertson for a 1-year deal, which he might take, or he might leave and give the Yankees compensation for his loss.  If he leaves, Betances is the new closer, but now they need a new Betances.Who plays SS now, a question they haven't had to answer for twenty years.Prado at 2B?  Headley at 3B?Does ARod come back, or do the Yankees pay him off to go away?Who is in their rotation next year?  Will CC be healthy? Kuroda is presumably done.  Does Greene stay in?

Is P90x good for a basketball player in the offseason?

Well, what I can say from my training is that things have worked out very well. When I first started using it I was tremendously overweight. At this point I feel healthier and look great.

I would say that results started showing just after the initial few weeks. After a couple of months things noticeably improved a lot. It is one of the greatest choices I ever made. Thankfully I got it for free, too.
