What Are Some Topics That Society Accepts Without Question

"HOT TOPICS" related in today's society?

write about how theres a marijuana revolution and why it should be and will be legalized.
todays society knows more about the plant and its benefits than ever before

Why is it so difficult for our society to accept some things which are accepted by our constitution?

Our society mainly comprises of *Us* the future of our countryandour parents. We can accept everything easily cause we’ve grown up in a western influence. We should understand that our parents and elderly people have different views and grew up in Indian culture and influence. It’ll take some time for them to completely understand and finally accept.

The HELLIQ society accepts unsupervised tests, which are validated by psychometricians. But I thought only supervised tests are valid. Am I wrong?

The answer is, “It depends”. I’m sorry.WHY is the candidate taking the test? If they are doing it for their own development or self-awareness, they will tend to be more honest and open. If the candidate is doing the test to get a job, the results will be skewed (we actually have different norm groups for these two situations).WHAT KIND of test is the candidate taking? Is it time limited? If so, is there any advice in the introduction on what kind of environment they should be in before taking the test? Some tests require focus and no distractions, do they have that kind of environment available or are they taking the test on a crowded subway?Monitored testing, that takes place in a testing center with docents and tight environmental controls, will give you the most accurate results for a particular test. But monitored testing is expensive. We all understand that moving a test online means that we have to adjust or norms and expectations, but the trade-off between cost and precision seems to be acceptable for most situations.

Sensitive topics are changing from place to place and these topics don’t have a certain end date , these will be prolonged as much as it will helpful. What are some sensitive issues in today's society?

This is for a speech in P.E. .. We have to choose a sensitive issue in today's society & talk about it for 3-5 minutes. Some examples that are given to us: teenage pregnancy, single parenting, homosexuality.
I don't want to do any of those topics. Maybe single parenting.. That would be alright I guess.. But can you think of any others? I'd like to choose something different.

What are headphones doing to society?

The Headphone is changing the society as it:Wards off nosey aunties/uncles interested in someone's personal life ( c'mon few people approach someone wearing earphones/headphones)You can conveniently ignore a pesky person trying to strike a conversation with you. *Blissful ignorance*Headphones are an absolute boon for introverts ( yes we don't like much human interaction in person)So headphones are definitely changing the nosey ways of society :P*Well, jokes apart, not going into the risks involved in headphone use on the road**Nor supporting social awkwardness*An introvert, happily signing off.

Does appearance matter to be accepted in society? How do you solve it when you’re surroundings demand you to have fancy style, white and flawless skin, and a skinny body, or would you just learn to love yourself and embrace simplicity?

Yes, of course appearance matters. And often, what society demands of us is illogical. But you don’t have to choose between fanatically trying to look exactly like you think society wants, or “embrace simplicity” and lower your standards. Most of all, you need to take a closer look at who is saying what to who, about what appearance is expected or desired. Then decide how much you want to be a part of that exact aspect of society, in order to plan how you react to it.If you want to be on a sports team, you’d better get with the appropriate exercise program, and work to become what the team wants, or find another sport to play. If you want to be a runway model in Paris, you can try protesting and complaining that less thin people be hired, and you MIGHT make some headway, but for the most part, you’ll need to become thin enough for them.Another way to deal with expectations, is to look for segments of the society who have expectations that you can already match.

What are some controversial issues in today's society?

Let's see, there is:

1. The issue of legalizing Marijuana and the dispensaries that are now opened in some states.

2. Same Sex Marriage

3. Obama's Health Care bill

4. The Tea Part issue with government spending.

5. Gun control and the right to bear arms is always open though not too hot, but may get hot with that massacre in Tucson AZ.

6. Rising fuel cost

7. Childhood Obesity (example: the removal of soda machines in some schools, taking toy out of Happy Meals and requiring healthy food for McDonalds and other fast food places).

That's 7. The ones you mentioned are common ones that have been around forever and will not help you too much in delivering the buzz you want. if you're looking to keep it interesting then you should choose current, hot topics that's on a lot of people's minds right now. Those are still good topics since it pertains to young people but what's there to debate about? (Are you for teen pregnancy or against it? lol).

I think the Marijuana subject will get a lot of interest and will bring a lot comments out in the open. Research the subject, you can come up with your own questions. Why should it be legal? or not? Suppose a surgeon is doing open-heart surgery on you and the whole staff is passing around a big ol' fatty and laughing their @sses off while they try to cut a straight line into you? Would you still think it should be legal? or suppose your little brother or sister's kindergarten teacher is smoking a giant bong pipe in front of the class? Would you take that lightly and want it to be legal then? or that guy who runs all those buttons & gadgets on that hammerhead ride you're locked into? Picture that loser smoking a toke and giggling while he tries to figure out which button he pushed last! Use your imagination and you'll do fine.
