What are some songs with similar messages to Youth of the Nation by P.O.D.?

Adam's Song by Blink-182
Stan by Eminem
Teen Spirit by Nirvana
Date Rape by Sublime
Behind Blue Eyes- The Who
What I've Done- Linkin Park

A lot of Blink-182 songs have meaning in them, too many to list. I agree music helps us relax and release anger.

How do you stop missing your youth and get on with life?

I just turned 25 and I realized a whole bunch of things lately

- At this age, my body slowly starts the aging process
- I've lived over a quarter of my life
- I'm no longer in the fun 18-24 range
- I'm too old for "youth bank accounts"
- This is the age where people start getting married/having kids
- Most superheros and childhood idols I had are younger than me
- I am 5 years away from 30
- I'm too old for spring break getaways, college dorms or clubbing
- My metabolism has slowed down and my hair is disappearing

I am really depressed over this. It's all I think about. How old I'm getting. I'd honestly rather die than get old.

What is missing from the music industry?

REALITY
these days, a person could have no voice at all. put send them to the recording studio and have whatever they sang changed up with all the gadgets they have now, and youve got a #1 song.
people don't need talent anymore. alot of music no longer takes alot of effort. a person can sing one phrase, have it repeated over and over and over, and spruce it up a little to make it sound better than it is in reality.
thats whats missing!

What are some songs about losing innocence?

U2 - The Little Things That Give You Away (Spotify Singles)This song from the album Songs of Experience contrasts with the songs in the album songs of Innocence. It’s a conversation between the older Bono and the younger one. The lost of innocence. The Little Things That Give You Away by U2The night gave you songA light had been turned onYou walked out in the worldLike you belong thereAs easy as a breezeEach heart was yours to pleaseIs it only me who seesThere’s something wrong thereOh la la, I’m not a ghost nowI can see youYou need to see meIt’s the little things that give you awayThe words you cannot sayYour big mouth in the wayI saw you on the stairsYou didn’t notice I was thereThat’s 'cause you were talking at me and Not to meYou were high above the stormA hurricane being bornThis freedom it might cost you your libertyIt’s the little things that give you awayThe words you cannot sayYour big mouth in the wayIt’s the little things that tease and betrayAs the hunted I become the preyIt’s the little thingsThe little things that give you awaySometimes I can't believe my existenceSee myself from a distanceI can’t get back insideSometimes the air is so anxiousAll my thoughts are so recklessAnd all of my innocence has diedSometimes I wake at four in the morningWhen all the darkness is swarmingAnd it covers me in fearSometimes, sometimes, sometimesSometimes I'm full of anger and grievingSo far away from believingThat any song will reappearSometimes the end is not comingIt’s not comingThe end is hereSometimesSometimes, sometimes, sometimesSometimes when the painted glass shattersAnd you’re the only thing that mattersBut I can’t see you through the tearsSometimes the end is not comingIt’s not comingThe end is hereSometimesSongwriters: Adam Clayton / Dave Evans / Larry Mullen / Paul David HewsonThe Little Things That Give You Away lyrics © Universal Music Publishing Group

When I was a kid, I was a melomaniac. I used to listen to a lot of songs. And damn, those days were too beautiful . Thank God there was no yo yo and badhshah that time. What are the best songs about finding yourself?

Here’s a good number of my personal favorite songs about Finding Yourself:I suppose I’ll start off with You Got To Go by Above and Beyond ft Zoe Johnston. I’d also recommend giving the acoustic version a listen.Peace of Mind also by Above and Beyond and ft Zoe Johnston is another great one. Sometimes it takes losing the things you really wanted to see what you really needed.Maker Of My Time by The Paper Kites. Basically, it’s about finding who you are again, after losing yourself to falsities. Shedding the heavy load of who you were pretending to be, abandoning it for who you know you are.Living Dangerously by Dami Im. Playing it safe when it comes to living can really hinder you from finding out who you really are.Firefly by Lindsey Stirling.heart by flor. Being stubborn and determined to stay true to who you are, even when the world is trying to forcefully change you.Something Real by Sir Felix ft Eric Lumiere. On A Good Day by Oceanlab. Finding yourself is a process. Not everyday will be perfect but there’s purpose in every day and you get closer and closer to being the person you know you’re meant to be.Weightless by Natasha Bedingfield.Finding yourself is also what happens when someone gets saved and begins to live their life for Christ. (Sorry if it’s not what you’re asking for exactly, but these are songs about finding who you are).Real Love - Hillsong Young & FreeComeback Kid - MandisaNew Day - Michael F Angelo and Eric LumiereNever Be The Same - Danny GokeyLastly, I’d also mention Find Yourself by Great Good Fine Ok and Before You Exit. It poses as a great reminder that, you can’t know what you want if you don’t even know who you are.

Why are most songs by Billie Eilish so depressing especially for someone of her age?

It’s quite an easy answer, I’ll try to give a brief insight to those who search these things. The so-called First World, the richest nations in the world, have a market which is quite disconnected from, for instance, India’s popular music and so on - “we” don’t know anything about what’s popular in those nations and areas. We Europeans, Americans, Australians etc. are continuously bombed by music made by the so-called “big four labels”: Universal, Sony, Warner and EMI (EMI was absorbed in 2011 by Sony and Universal). All the music we hear on the radio, on Youtube, on TV etc. is produced by these labels. These labels make music in order to be sold, like every other product, to a first-world public. This means that every singer or band signed to them has behind them a precise strategy in order to catch some kind of public and get money.Billie Eilish O’Connell is an American singer with English and Irish ancestry. She is signed to Universal, and all of her career is linked to Universal. This means that her image, like every other mainstream singer’s image, is made by Universal or another major label in order to target some public - in O’Connell’s case, probably a teenage public who listens to electronic pop with dark elements and similar things. She is just another mainstream pop singer portraying the image that the label and her managers ordered her to bear in order to gain profit and visibility, nothing else. Don’t make any assumption on her feelings or whatever else, you’ll never know anything about her apart from her public image and the money the label, managers etc. want to make with her.
