What Are The Similarities Of K To 12 And Sedp Curriculum

Probability Question?

Let U(x,y) denote the probability that A wins if A is x steps away from finishing point and B is y steps away from finishing point.

The induction relation between the U(x,y)'s can be obtained using the probabilities given by Michael. One gets

U(x,y) = (1/30) * (U(x-5,y) + U(x,y-5) + 2U(x-4,y)+2U(x,y-4)
+ 3 U(x-3,y) + 3U(x,y-3) + 4U(x-2,y) + 4U(x,y-2)
+5U(x-1,y)+5U(x,y-1) ) .

You have the boundary conditions U(x,y) = 1 if x <= 0, meaning A has won if he reached the finishing point first and U(x,y) = 1 if y <= 0. In general U(x,y) + U(y,x) = 1.

You want to compute U(18,24). The only analytical way to do this is to use the induction relation to compute U(x,y) for all x, y such that x<=18, y<= 24 and of course (x,y) not (18,24).

So you can compute U(1,y) for all y less than 24, by induction on y, then U(2,y) for y <= 24, all the way till U(18,y) for y <= 24.

Nothing a computer can't do =)

Is it possible to have a Ferrari car for a Filipino Nurse working in States?

it depends what kind of nurse you are and your credit history(also this is base on monthly installments ).. CNA? LVN? RN? If your a CNA forget about it lol but if your an lvn you can afford providing you work your a$$ off. If your an RN you can afford than being an LVN but do you really want to work your a$$ off for it? (also providing you live w your parents for free)Remember cars always depreciate their values compare to houses. So, why put so much money in it?

Buwisit regarding the RN salary, your talking about a newly grad. My sis is an RN for 10 yrs she works for the state as a surveyer for california hospitals and nursing homes and shes makes $110,056 a year to be exact with no overtime. She takes home around $7000 a month after tax. She lives in Cali too. My husband is an LVN he made $ 75,601.05 last year of course before tax lol but with overtime.. Like i said an RN/ LVN can afford providing they work their a$$ off meaning lots lots of overtime and living w their parents for free lol. In California if you work more than 8 hrs you get paid time and a half but if you work more than 12 hrs you get paid double for nurses ( dont know about the other professions). My husband is an lvn he makes $25 an hr including the night shift differential sometimes he does double shifts and he earns $550 before tax in one day doing double. Nurses dont just work 40 hrs a week theres no money in that they work lots of overtime bec thats where the money is.

What can you say about K to 12 curriculum in the Philippines?

The K-12 curriculum is long overdue and needed. The ten year curriculum was simply insufficient especially in modern context. The new K-12 system however gives more time for more content to be taught and students to remain in school longer rather than picking up negative influences after their graduation at the early age of 16.However, while the system is well-received, I still think the curriculum can be better improved to actually teach students more relevant knowledge and at a higher standard, rather than spending the first six years teaching very basic things like pronunciation in English or basic arithmetics for Maths, which I think can be taught in two years, see Singapore as an example.

Does anyone work at SONIC DRIVE IN as a cook? I need some help/tips.?

Kinda embarrassing to ask, but does anyone know and give me like a chart or something to all the names of the abbreviated words for the orders from the screen? like maybe do a "L CCD = Large Chili Cheese Dogs" type of a thing, really need to memorize these.

Please and thank you.

My lesbian french teacher fancies me? And she kissed me?

If your parents don't believe you, talk to your school principal or school nurse. Of course the attention is flattering, but this is an absolute violation of professional ethics for a teacher - particularly a K-12 teacher.

Report her. She SHOULD get in trouble. You are under the age of consent, so if you did get involved it would be statutory rape.

Unless you're trolling - which is always a possibility, people have some pretty screwy fantasies and often get off on his kind of game -- just report her. Someone putting the moves on kids should not be a teacher -- het, gay, or lesbian, it's all unethical.

What is the importance of K-12 education?

A K 12 education can do very much for preparing an individual for adult life, probably as a worker type job future, always doing the job, as defined by someone with more knowledge than is required to…do the job !If the student pays attention, they are probably qualified to do that job that will define the parameters of the job most people are qualified for, in other words…that daily job, mentioned above. Finally cones that rare student with a plan to become educated with the plan to attend a decent university to become even more educated and possibly become qualified for a professional education and attend graduate school in a technical field such as medicine, law, science engineering, or sone such cerebral specialty held by the few.Currently, the average American college student spends tine wasting their parents money before trying to get the job defined in the first paragraph. The clever student questions all claims especially those made by politicians and religious spokesmen for sone particular god like individual. When the clever student hears someone claim to be a particular thing, such as the popular, “conservative”, the student looks up the definition for the term and assesses whether the claimant meets the correct definition of the term or would the claimant rather be known as that rather then what they really are, by their speech and actions or behavior. These few students will discover the average politician has no idea just what the term means in good English. The well informed student figures out early on that merely because a relatively good education is offered in most free countries, is no guarantee they will actually get one. Why? Because a good education requires much effort and attention on the part of the student. Far too many students the education is automatically theirs just by being in school.Sadly, if your parents or grand parents have lots of money, you can get an advanced degree after really not even qualifying for graduation. All the parents/grandparents must do is just throw lots and lots of money at the so-called university, such as Yale, and voila, a Masters degree in sone simple discepline arrived automatically and the academically poor student then has the right to cain they are educated. The average poor student will never question this claim because, after all, it is written on an expensive piece of paper contained a nice frame..

What are the issues on the implementation of K-12 in the Philippines?

First issue would be the cost of additional two years of primary education. Not all public schools can accommodate the different strands of the K-12 so the government gave “discount coupons” to public school students to cover part of the costs that private schools set for Grades 11 and 12. Even if it were free, the cost that two additional years entail is still a serious issue for several parents.Second, I’m not sure if the Education Department spread out the lessons for the primary school years to lengthen the program or added new lessons coming from the tertiary levels, but the load of my grade 2 daughter has certainly not gotten any lighter compared to my grade 12 son when he was grade 2. I expected it to ease up. Maybe strengthened the important ones and lightened up other subjects. Subject to debate as to which subjects of course. Take Math for example. Some or many say that our students are lagging behind other Asian countries like Singapore. So what do regular schools do or what does the curriculum say? They accelerate the program by giving multiplication and fraction problems early into the primary years. My daughter’s lessons confirm that. My daughter has also competed in a massive math quiz game sponsored by a company that espouses Singaporean math. So why did they compete when they were not given Singaporean methods of learning math which is apparently or reportedly more effective. Why does the Education Department continue on with an accelerated traditional math than just adopting Singaporean math (they allowed the contests anyway)? Is there a business side to it - let’s keep your kids dumb so we can promote alternative (better) maths that are obviously better than ours which costs extra of course(?)Third, graduating grade 12 students who decide to skip college and find a job would be swimming right smack into the unemployment pool; I’m almost certain they wouldn’t drown cause the pool’s all filled up most likely. They’re gonna be in there with the all the other job-hunting undergrads and graduates. My point is that the program, which was hastily started, brings about more difficulties/questions than solutions. I’m not against it but I’m against how it is being implemented. The first glaring defect is that not even all public high schools offer the program and those that do, don’t have complete strands of grades 11 to 12. State college education is now free, so why shouldn’t all strands of K-12 be available and given free?

Are there any countries which do not follow the usual 12 grades curriculum for schools?

Angola and Djibouti only follow a K+10 curriculum. Philippines just recently changed from K+10 to K+12 curriculum with their first batch of graduates in 2018. Other SouthEast Asian countries follow more than 12 years of curriculum - Brunei: 15 years; Cambodia 13 years;Indonesia: 13 years; Laos: 13 years; Malaysia: 13/14 years; Myanmar: 12 years; Singapore: 12 to 14 years;Thailand: 12 years; Timor: 12 years; Vietnam: 14/15 (source: Phl needs K to 12 now )
