What Can I Do To Get Me Working Ridiculously Fast

Slacking Off vs. Working Hard During Swim Practice?

I have been swimming a little less than 5 years, and I just recently moved up to one of the better teams. My coach has gotten me doing USA and getting me to work a lot harder. I just moved up to the fastest girls lane and I'm the slowest (haha) but I'm willing to really work hard. There were a few times that I moved down a lane because my lane was too crowded. I noticed that while I was here, I was leading this lane and a lot of people would hang at the other side of the pool, skip laps in a set, and I would pass them easily. I feel like I am working hard considering I do every set, and I'm sooo tired at the end of each practice. However when a meet comes around, I find myself with times not so great. I'm wondering how come they get to be so fast when I swim faster than them during practice? I remember swimming a set with a girl who I used to be in her lane. She even commented how much faster I seem to have gotten. I felt proud that I have been working hard. Then in the during a meet, she swims just as fast as me. I work hard for my awful times, yet they just come in and swim super fast times! It's not fair, what is going on? How can I improve?

How to gain weight with a ridiculously fast metabolism.?

I'm a 6ft Hispanic guy who weighs 135 lbs and my build right now is athletic but I'm looking to gain 30 lbs of which I'll turn into muscle because I already work out frequently. I'm just looking for some tips on how to gain the weight because I could sit on my *** all day and eat big macs and I would probably still weigh from 130-135. So far I'm planning to have many protein shakes throughout my day and eat more meals even if I'm not hungry.

Sims 3 , not fast forwarding ?

Yup. The same thing is happening to pretty much everyone. Either their speeds don't work at all, or the "ultra speed" is ridiculously NOT ultra speed. The ultra speed on my game is pretty much the exact same as my middle speed.

I can't believe all of the problems that have come from this game. They changed the user interface SO MUCH that it's like a blow in the face to the Sim fans that have been there since Sims 1. And it's the little things in the game that make me want to turn back to the Sims 2. For instance, the materializing into their cars instead of actually getting in them, and the creepy round faces they all have and ALL of the crazy notices that pop up everywhere. I swear the game is more of a novel than a computer game. It took me a good bit just to find the needs panel...

I dunno, maybe I just need to get used to it more. But it's hard when there's pretty much only one games speed... :(

EA, we need a patch! ALREADY!

Why do people make fun of people who work at McDonalds/fast food places?

I just turned 19 and recently started working at McDonalds. It wasn't my first choice but I applied to 100 different places to work this summer and that is the only real interview/job offer I got. I don't really need the money but I just wanted to gain some job experience and have something to do this summer. I go to a private university and have to pay for some school expenses too, so the money is useful. But I hear so many people talking crap about people who work at McDonalds. Sure, it's not the ideal career. But what is so wrong with working there? Atleast people working there are actually working and not sitting around. And in this economy, it is so difficult to find a job at all. Yeah, I make minimum wage but let me tell you, it is HARD work. So please tell me - why are people so judgmental of people who work there?

Oboe: Playing Fast Help!!!?

My number one secret is to memorize the fast passage so that you aren't reading it. Trying to read a fast run will automatically slow you down. You also need to develop 'muscle memory' for the passage. Working at a reasonable pace at first, play the passage so many times that you no longer even think about the fingerings. Your brain will cause you to stumble. You have to do it without thinking. Remember: The amateur practices until he gets it right, the professional practices until he can't get it wrong!
