What Careers Should I Look At

I scored a 95 on my asvab, what careers should i look into for the military?

I scored off the chart when taking my ASVAB way back when. They won't tell you that you have some leverage now and will try and direct you to the "needs of the military"; get used to that term, they use it a lot in the Army, less so in the USAF. Anyway, hold out for a job area that you have some interest in, so you gain some experience in that to see if that's where you want to spend your GI Bill dollars when you go back to college; you'll have an inside "look" vs. just choosing blindly because of something you might have heard and find you don't really like it once your going to class and have wasted that money.....your money.
Like me, I wanted to do law enforcement. They told me sorry but nothing available, how about this (the redirect). I said no thank you, call me when you get something. They called back a week later...still now MP, but what else you might be interested in? I said, maybe something medically related. Sorry, nothing like that right now, but how about this? Sorry, no thank you; call me back when you get something. Three weeks later, they call...can you come up here (they want you there in person to exert more pressure to take something else; easier than over the phone) we might have something, but you have to come now....right. I go up there, well that was taken up by the time you got her, but what about this? No thank you.... I'm leaving the building and he comes running after me, hey this medical thing just opened up (a miracle). A lab tech job. I think about it....no, I really want to do MP, call me.... I'm out in the parking lot. Here he comes, miracle of all miracles; an MP slot just opened up right before his eyes, come back in now and let's grab it! LOL. So I played hardball and got what I wanted. It was something that a lot of recruits want so they hold on to them for hard cases like me, and try to redirect the ones that don't stand their ground....so be strong. The end of the story, I got what I wanted, saw I loved it from my experience and spent my GI Bill dollars wisely and got my degree; went to officers school, now retired young with a nice retirement check....and served my fellow Americans while doing it!!!!
Best of luck!!

This is a very broad question, especially because we do not know your personal interests. I also do not know if you do not want a desk job as in “sitting at the office in a cubicle all day” or if you’d just prefer a more active job. Anyway, I’ll take my best shot:Artist of some sort - painter, dancer, musicianWedding planner/designerClothes designerTeacherPersonal trainer/fitness instructorChefFarmer or something else in agricultureNutritionist/dietitian

What should your college path look like if wanting to have a career in astrophysics?

The most straightforward path is to enroll in an astronomy/astrophysics program. There are many universities that offer an undergraduate degree in this.Other universities offer undergraduate degrees in physics, with a specialization in astronomy, typically a few extra courses in your final years. This is also fine.A key thing is to do research during your undergraduate years. There are many summer research programs (“REU’s”) offered around the country. This is very important for getting into grad schoolIt is possible to get into a PhD program in astrophysics if you have a degree in math or other fields, but the bar is much higher.

I love math and physics. Which career should I choose?

So you are in 10th and you say you love physics and maths but that is not enough for a person to decide his future. Firstly, you should complete your 11th and 12th there you will encounter with various fields and aspects of these domains, so that you can better choose your course for UG level. If you love maths and phy, I think you will not go for courses like bca, hotel management, nda, b.pharm, bbs, scra, merchant navy, bba, barch, or bplan but will go for btech or bsc. And so you have to choose whether a technical and application based btech or research and theory based bsc.P.S. If you got tensed or irritated over any degree in the Don't Do list then you can consider that one after your 12th (just a psychological effect).
