Describes the steps you use during an experiment?
First off I'm guessing this for school (Unless you're a scientist). I would start by writing down what equipment I am going to use and what method I am going to approach the experiment with. Next I would write down the controls, dependant variables and independent variables (The control is the baseline for your experiment, Independent variables are those whose values are controlled or selected by the experimenter, Dependent variables are those that change based on the independent variables). I would then make a reasonable prediction on what I will think would happen. I will then do the experiment! Making sure I repeat it 3 times to make each result reliable and fair. I will then write a conclusion of what has happened, what I could have done differently and whether or not my prediction was correct. If not, why? Also make a graph of your results if needed. Hope I helped!!
What are the steps used during an experiment?
make a plan collect things you need. build. measure make notes make diagram have conclusions. check how you can improve your experiment
What describes the steps you use as a scientist during an experiment?
yeah, procedure.
What describes the steps you use during an experiment?
The scientific method is probably what you're looking for. In its basic form it is a four step method that allows you to document your experiment. It consists of: Observation Hypothesis (what you think will happen) Experimentation conclusion. If you're documenting an experiment, there are several standard headings to use Introduction Method Results Discussion Conclusion. If your report is long you may need an abstract before the introduction.
