Is western better than Vedic astrology?
Yes, definitely. Vedic Astrology is BS. It is negative, depressive, fatalistic, fear mongering, and contradictory. What's worse, a lot of Vedic astrologers try to force their views on people who believe in Western astrology. Western Astrology is definitely the way to go. I totally agree with you, people aren't like their Vedic charts at all. In Western astrology, I'm a Sagittarius Sun, Leo Moon, Cancer Ascendant with a Fire dominant chart. In Vedic astrology, I would be a Scorpio Sun, Cancer Moon, Gemini Ascendant with a Water dominant chart. That's not me at all and trust me, I know myself. Then there is my husband, he has a Virgo stellium in Western astrology, in Vedic astrology he would have a Leo stellium, he is nothing like a Leo! Then there is my cousin, she has Aries Moon and Venus in Western astrology and she would be a Pisces Moon and Venus in Vedic. She is nothing like a Pisces Moon and Venus! I have studied the natal chart of quite a lot of people and none of them act like their Vedic chart. The other thing I strongly dislike about Vedic astrology beside being inaccurate is the fact that it is very fatalistic, negative and fear mongering. For example Vedic astrology considers being born during Waning Moon to be malefic and unlucky. The Waning Moon phase lasts for 2 weeks each month, so we are talking about half of the world's population! Also, they associate Waning Moon births with health issues like infertility, early death, etc. How utterly stupid is that!
Is Vedic or Western astrology more accurate?
In Vedic astrology by birth chart seems to move backwards, like my sun becomes Pisces, my moon becomes Taurus, and so on and so forth with the rest of the planets except the ascendant which stays as Libra. But, in Western astrology it's sun Aries, Moon Gemini, then ascendant Libra. I feel like the western chart is more accurate, but how do you guys feel?
Why is Western Astrology wrong?
I was able to look at the sky during my birth using Google sky maps app on my smartphone and it turns out the sun was not in pisces it was in aquarius the whole day that day. So why does western astrology say I am a pisces while sidereal astrology is correct?
