I think, ultimately, it's about staying focused when loads of other things are happening around us to the point where it could, seemingly, drive us all mad.

I wrote song lyrics for a song I’m writing, the name of the song is “Melissa’s parents”. Here are the lyrics: Melissa cries, Melissa fights for her life, she’s on the way to psycho with her dad, Melissa smokes, and then she’s broke she’s got no way of conformity, Melissa fights with her mom over the night but the right thing to do is fly a kite, Melissa’s parents, working day and night they come home and pray for Melissa to be okay, Melissa chokes, when she’s smokes shes on her way to recovery. Melissa writes, that she’s shy but the teacher still makes her present in front of the class, Melissa’s bass, where she learned in class won’t do her any good in this awful world, so she’s curls in a ball and makes her little brother fall, Melissa’s fine but she’s nine so why are Melissa’s parents a canine?

I am writing a few songs, here is one from my album it's called "Better than ever". Here are the lyrics: No matter who you are, no matter where you stay, you'll be better off indeed. No matter what they say it's just a day away, forget what the dirty voices say, they are just decayed and you are who you are. The haters might say i'm a waiter but they are changers, their mom raised them to be baiters oh waiters? it's the little things in life that they say, my mama told me never to play pretend, never give in to surveillance, no matter what they say you'll be okay in my book.

What do you think about these lyrics?

They are for a metalcore/melodic metal core song my band might work on. It's about finding solace within your home and the security about being alone. Its also about not needing others to help you when you are well enough to do it yourself.

"Behind These Four Walls"

Never did I think,
That everything was about to close on me,
That I could find some help, some closure,
A place that I could call my own,

I set a goal,
To never ask for help, From you,
Even when I’m left for dead,
I will never rely on your defending,
I will never ask for your protection,

You still tell me “You need my help”,
“You won’t make it without me”,
I said thanks when I took those words,
I put them in the ground,
In the ground just like everything else,
That slipped from your mind,

I think I found some closure,
I think I found security,
I know now what I needed,
I found this all behind these four walls,
The walls to be alone,
The walls I call my home,

What do you think of these rap lyrics?

Your lyrics are very eloquent.  Sounds as if you are battling with a toxic virus of "hate/rage" and are recovering with strong immunity against future infections.   Interpersonal boundaries are very important to recognize in order to avoid infections of any vulnerable emotions within the self and/or others.   Take care!
