Which girl name- Sophie or Sadie?
Sophie: my husband really likes it, and I like it too. We have a children’s book called the Adventures of Sophie that I love. We both like the combination Sophie Juliana. However, my little sister loves this combo too and really wants to use it, and it goes really well with some of the other names she likes. Sadie: I like the background better, and it’s a little less common. We really like the combo Sadie Helen best, and it’s hard to find a name that sounds good with Helen. My husband does have two cousins named Sadie. BQ: Do you think the two names are too similar to use for sisters?

Soie, (sew-ee) seems to be a cute nickname. Or you can take the middle name and combine the two. Example: My niece is named Kayla Isabel, so I call her K-bel. Mixing first and middle names can often sound absolutely adorable.

my family has adopted dogs from all ages from the spca for many years & you don't need to have a name that rhymes with the dogs old name. just find a name YOU like & keep calling her that. she'll get used to it. she also knows that you're her new owner so in a ways, she has a mental state that things start over, including her name. congrats on being an awesome person on adopting her!
