What Does It Mean To Have A Clean Financial Background

What does it mean to have a clean financial background?

I was filling out a application and I need help.

"Many positions at L-3 require the employee to hold a government approved clearance, for which the basic requirements generally include U.S. citizenship, a clean financial background, and no current substance abuse issues. Are you able to meet these requirements?"

If JCPenney gives you a background check does that mean your hired if your background is clean?

I just got back from an interview at JCPenneys and everything went good. She went over everything about the store, how part time employees get benefits, requesting off, scheduling, etc. I currently work at Zumiez and she asked if I would need to give them a formal notice to leave. She said she is looking forward to moving on with the background check and it takes up to about a week. She gave me her card and extension and said to call her if I come up with anymore questions because she also had other people to interview. Does this mean I got the job when my background check comes back clean?

How long does Sears take to call back after background check?

Hi everyone! Well,I gave a job interview the Saturday before last and was hired on the spot, shown around the store and had my name put into the system. I gave my drug test the next day and I am still waiting for someone to call me for an orientation. Does anyone know what's taking so long? I have a clean record and dont do drugs. I called them on Monday and spoke to someone, other than the lady who hired me, and she told it normally takes two weeks. Well, this saturday it will be two weeks, so should I call Saturday or when? Help! I really like the job they gave me and especially sears.
Thanks in advance.

Can anyone with a criminal background work in a nuclear power plant?

The big things are:
DISCLOSE it to the access authorization people. If they find out on their own you are toast.

If it is a crime dealing with dishonesty, you may be toast.

Other than that, it depends on what the crime is, how long ago it was, and whether there has been evidence that it is ancient history (went to NA or AA and have been clean for 20 years).

What do realtors look for when performing a background check on a potential tenant?

we just got bumped from renting a condo because of a felony my partner had from 10 years back.

now we found another place and this time i was going to be the primary lease-holder. i have been absolutely clean and sober for 2 1/2 years, but i have some DUI's from 3 years ago on my record. they are all misdemeanors, but will that keep us from being able to rent this house? my father has agreed to co-sign, and he has excellent credit and rental history.

or would we be better off having my father rent the place in his name, and his name only? is that against the rules if he won't be living there? and what happens if he does that and lies about living there, could we be evicted for that if it's found out?

sorry lots of questions, but i am so torn up about losing the first place. we had signed the lease and put down the deposit. they just called me today to tell me we couldnt have it. i dont want this to happen again, we really like this new place we are looking at now also.

Does Starbucks always hire after they background check? (if background check is clean)?

I had an interview with Starbucks recently, and she told me that she liked me but due to company policy she couldn't make me an "official" offer until she did the background check. What does an "official" offer mean? Does this mean I have a good chance of getting the job?

By the way, how long does the background check initially take?

PS: The interview went really well. She really liked my answers and she loved the fact that I kept on smiling the whole time.
