What Does This Mean Anatomy Help

What does abnormal anatomy mean?

Abnormal Anatomy means just that, that you are anatomically abnormal, or in layman's terms, that you have a missing or incorrect part of your body. That was probably said in reference to the gallbladder removal, meaning that with it gone you now do not have all of your body parts intact.

Yeah, I know, doctors can give you a headache with all that mumbo jumbo... dontcha just wish they would SAY what they MEAN already??!

What does visceral mean in terms of anatomy?

From http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/visceral

"of, relating to, or located on or among the viscera."

Further, if you follow the dictionary entry's link to the word "viscera," you get the following definition: "an internal organ of the body; especially : one (as the heart, liver, or intestine) located in the great cavity of the trunk proper."

P.S. Don't know if it's a typo or not, but it's "cite" rather than "sight" when referring to a source.

What does it mean to have 'a kitchen' ?

lol... a "kitchen" is the back of the hair line that is the most difficult area to keep straight if the hair is processed or permed.

I'd like also pip in on the "good hair" comment though, hair is a matter of perspective and I personally am happy to be nappy!

On Grey's Anatomy, what did Denny mean by 'I'm here for you'?

I just watched the episode Stairway Into Heaven where the hospital staff is struggling with choosing between letting the murderer die and give the organs to the little boy who needs them, or save his life only to have him be executed in five days.

Also, Lexy and Slogan make progress somewhat ;) while Izzy and Denny have a huge breakthrough. Which brings me to my question, what did he mean when he said to Izzy, "I'm here for you."

At the end she figured it out, but I'm still in the dark. Does it mean that he was here to hold her hand because she will die soon? I don't understand.

What did the double o 7 mean in greys anatomy tonight?

Yeah.

What do they mean in anatomy when they say visceral or parietal?

Visceral often has something to do with organs or the center of the body. Such as, the visceral layer of the peritoneum is the layer that covers the abdominal organs. Parietal, on the other hand, has to do with the outer edges of the body. So, on the contrary, the parietal layer of the peritoneum lines the edges of the abdominal cavity.
