What Else Do I Do If My Iphone Gets Wet

My iphone got wet; what should i do?

I guess you can try and just let it dry.
Keep it alone for a week if you can and then try it.

If it doesn't work then you need to go to the nearest apple store *especially* if you have a reciept.
Find the nearest apple store by google.

Advice - don't let them know YOU dropped the ipod in the bath tub.
If you tell them it was accidental you won't have a chance of getting it fixed for free. (take your ipod to them (dry) and just tell them the problems happended randomly). - with reciept if possible.

Good luck, unfortunately there is no home fix.

My phone charger got wet... still safe to use?

It will not burn your house down even if you plugged it into the wall and put the phone end into water it would however fry the resisters inside it and the transformer. As the first post said let it dry and it will be fine. Don't wrap it in a towel that will stop airflow and hold the moisture in after the towel gets wet it is useless, however putting it in a zip-lock bag of rice(not quick rice if it still has noticeable water and sticking it where the sun, in front of heater, or other ambient heat source for a few hrs will allow it to dry completely(did this to my friends Iphone last time he dropped it into the beer cooler and it worked great)!

Got my iphone wet and screen went dark?

Try and keep the IPHONE dry all the time and don't keep it wrapped in anything or covered by anything. You need to let the air dry it out as much as possible in the air and without a large amount of dust being in the air. When you are able to you can put it in rice to aid in the drying process as the rice will help hasten the drying a little but not much. By all means don't use any heating devise of any kind to try and dry it sooner as you will fry some of the internal parts and surely ruin it. I suspect you may have a hard time keeping the IPHONE dry and free from dust while attempting to dry it because you are at camp, but there doesn't appear to be any other choice. Next time don't take your IPHONE anywhere near moisture as you will always stand the chance of ruining the internal parts where they to get wet. It is always best to let any electrical item such as an IPHONE or a laptop dry in the air and not attempt to do anything else. I dropped a glass of water on the keyboard of my laptop and all I did was leave it on a table in the house and let the air dry it for a week and it worked as good as it did before I dropped the water on it. I have learned a lesson and that is to not have any liquids anywhere near where they may spill onto my laptop. It took just one occurrence for me to become more aware of this possibility and take precautions to prevent it from happening again. I suspect you may have learned the hard way as I did and you won't let it happen again. Good luck and have fun at camp.

What do I do if my cell phone power charger gets wet?

Hello. This is going to sound really funny. I accidently spilled lubercation in my bag coming back from a recent trip about two days ago. The lube spilled all over my things including my cell phone power adapter cord. The power cord to charge my cell phone worked perfectly yesterday, when I tried to plug my cell phone in last night, the damn thing wouldn't work. Should I just let it dry up some where or is it completely dead? Please give me some good news. Thanks

If A Surge Strip Gets Wet, Will It Surge?

I left a glass of water on my dresser, and my cat spilled it on the surge protector strip that had my laptop, my iHome, my iPhone, and my lamp plugged in to it. Nothing has been having issues, except for my iPhone. It ran out of charge very fast today, and now I cannot get it to turn on. Is it possible that the surge strip could have created an electrical surge when it got wet. Also, it was SOAKED, just for the record. Thanks in advance ^^
