It doesn't just depend on your eyes, but your skin tone as well. I have hazel eyes, and a lightish skin tone. Dark brown looks really good on me. The safest bet for lighter skin tones is any shade of brown from medium to dark. If your skin is olive or dark brown, I suggest something closer to black.

With pale skin tones i would say go for a warm soft hair color like a honey brown or a strawberry blond color. Mixing two extremes like pale skin and very dark hair only brings your paleness out more. Brown hair looks very nice with hazel eyes but if you feel for a change stick with a colors that are in that family. Dark brown with blond highlights would also look nice. If you are not sure or want to see how it looks on you then go to a store and try on color wigs to see it on your face. You have a pretty eye color so bring them out with a color that complements them. Again for the make up get colors that complement your eyes i would say some pastels don't over do it natural is very nice.

I am one of those people with Caucasoid features and a very bastardized accent because of the people from many nations I worked with and places I lived. Where I am right now, which is Los Angeles, even though I just look like one of them, as soon as I open my mouth, they can tell I am a foreigner. In LA, this is not much of a problem but you go more into the heartland, there is an identifiable amount of dissent for immigration. I am not going to call it racism, but in some occasions it comes close, regardless of your skin color or features.

Personally (and it's completely up to you), I'd avoid ash blonde or brown since — I'm assuming — you've got cool (blue) undertones in your skin. You may also have warm-toned pale skin? Many say go for cool blondes and browns when you're pale with blue undertones, but I'd argue against that. I'm very pale myself, and when I bleached my hair white blonde, it didn't suit my cool-toned complexion. I have hazel eyes and pale skin to, I dyed my hair almost every color under the sun. here's what i think: 1. Blonde turned out horrible on me, if you want to do blonde go for ash blonde it's less intense than platinum and might show off your eyes 2. Chocolate brown was really nice and oddly made my eyes look green, you might have the same result but if your hair is already brown it might not be fun to dye it the same color 3. red (as in orange red) was nice but I noticed that the hair looked like a cheep hair dye (even though it cost a fortune) 4. hot Pink or dark pink are really nice there different and though they don't bring attention to your eyes, they have a look that is quite unique 5. a dark purple is a nice color and it framed my face nicely, it also brought out my eyes for some reason 6. the best i think was black it was a contrast to my skin, and my eyes looked more green than hazel. I dyed it about 18 times and the rest of the colors are not as interesting though If you want it unique Black with a blonde stripe worked wonders.
