What Happened To The Scrubbing Bubbles Kitchen Cleaner

Can i use scrubbing bubbles in my dishwasher is it safe?

If you are just cleaning out the dishwasher it would be OK, if you rinse it out real well after-wards, but if you mean to use it in the place of dishwashing soap, then you should not use it. Automatic Dishwashing Soap is low sudsing. Scrubbing Bubbles will create so many bubbles in your dishwasher that the bubbles will just ooze right out from around the door seal. You will have a hugh mess all over your floor.

Is that new shower cleaner "Scrubbing Bubbles safe to use?"?

I have 2 cats and use Scrubbing Bubbles on EVERYTHING with no ill effects to my cats. I use it on my fridge, cabinets, kitchen sink, to kill mold, you name it. It works GREAT! My entire family has found different places to use that stuff. So go ahead and use it in your entire home.

I like it especially for the fridge since the doors have that texture on it and SB gets into all the grooves evenly and it just wipes clean. I keep like 3 cans on hand at all times.

Its not expensive at all. You can get it at any retail or dollar store. Its good stuff. Like a dollar or 2 a can. Not bad.

I used a cleaning product (scrubbing bubbles, i think) last week in my sink and then today I used Drano. okay?

Yes, that means do not use them together with another product. If the sink had Scrubbing Bubbles in it when you used the Drano, that could cause a chemical reaction. Having cleaned the sink with Scrubbing Bubbles a week ago, no residue is going to remain at this point, don't worry about it.

What do cleaning companies use to clean kitchens?

The best way to clean wood cabinets is by purchasing an oil-soap wood cleaner. Many can be purchased relatively cheap from your local hardware store. On the other hand, you could clean your wooden cabinets using everyday materials you probably already own.Detergent: Homeowners can use any oil/grease cutting dish or laundry detergent and water to clean their wood cabinets. As a general rule, you should mix two cups of water with every cup of detergent. Don’t overwet the cabinets as it could ruin the finish. After applying cleaning solution, clean it down with a damp cloth and then wipe down with a separate dry cloth.Vinegar: If you don’t have liquid-based detergents, vinegar and water is a valuable substitution. Vinegar is good for removing sticky films most likely caused by dirty hands.Baking Soda: The hardest stains should be confronted with baking soda. Create a paste by mixing with water and then wipe it clean with a wet cloth. As with all our methods discussed, homeowners should test the chosen supplies on small areas that are not easily noticeable. Wait a few hours before tackling more visible cabinets to make sure you are not ruining the finish or color.

Why do cleaning products produce foam and bubbles?

Here’s a riddle for you: What do bath soap, laundry detergent and dish-washing soap all have in common? Answer: They can all make bubbles. When a bunch of little bubbles come together, it is called foam. Whenever soap mixes with air and water it forms foam. Foam is one of the main reasons behind the cleansing action of all soaps and detergents. The main reason behind foam is the presence pf foaming agents in the soap. If you read the ingredients on the label of your shampoo bottle you might recognize these names ammonium lauryl sulfate and sodium dodecyl sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate. These are the most commonly used foaming agents. These foaming agents act as surfactants which means that they help to reduce the surface tension of water and also help to break up the oil and sebum on the skin thus cleaning the dirt off your skin.Visit PropertyePortal for laundry services and great offers.

How do you use SoftScrub to clean white quartz kitchen counters?

Many “soft scrub” products contain chlorine. This is definitely not good to use on any dark coloured quartz counter top. You might get away with it on a white quartz counter top, but I wouldn’t risk it. If the quartz is properly polished, you should be able to easily clean it with dish soap then rinse and polish it with a dry cloth.Never use anything acidic on a quartz counter top or let acidic foods remain in contact with the surface. Any kind of acid like ketchup or citric juices will damage the finish.

What happens if you accidentally get bleach on your skin?

Depends on how much and the concentration.Ordinary household bleach is sodium hypochlorite. The brand name product ‘Chlorox’ is nominally 6% sodium hypochlorite and is relatively benign unless you leave it on a large area of your skin for a while (what’s a ‘while?’ - minutes, in my opinion) or take a bath in the stuff (ugh - and expensive).Sodium hypochlorite breaks down in the presence of many organic compounds and releases free chlorine ions - these are what do the ‘dirty work’ and not something you want in/on your body in large quantities or for a long time.Newer formulations include a gelling agent and are thicker, making them stick to skin more easily.Healthy skin, despite its seeming thinness and tendency to damage from sharp objects is actually pretty tough. So, as suggested by Wei Shen, lots of water, some mild soap (no abrasives such as ‘Lava’) and a bit of lotion help but time and healthy, unbroken skin are best.Bleach in a cut/abrasion is not good - the deeper the cut or the larger the area of abraded skin will result in more choride ions absorbed into your system. Seek medical help if you spill bleach, especially the gel type, on an abrasion or deep cut.Personally, I hate the smell of the stuff and want to get it off my skin ASAP. Washing up and time do the job in most cases. As a last comment, DO NOT use full strength bleach in a spray bottle set to ‘mist’ - it will get into your lungs - not something you can wash. Many people dilute bleach and spray counters, kitchen cabinets, whatever, with the stuff. That’s a bad idea, in my opinion. You are better off with a rag/paper towel and some gloves. Use the stuff directly on surfaces and don’t rely on a spray to get it where it belongs.wb

Someone sprayed Lysol all over the kitchen without reading the directions. If washed, are the dishes safe to use, even plastic containers? Is the floor safe as long as it's dry?

Yes. As long as the dishes are washed and the floor is dry, everything should be fine…including plastic containers. Lysol is water soluable and rinces off well. Even Lysol disinfectant spray which can kill germs it comes in contact with in the air has a scent to help eliminate odors that the manufacturers know you're going to breathe in when you spray it. Minor exposure is safe unless someone has allergies to any of it's ingredients.
