If you move to a new town on Sims 3?
If I remember correctly, you will actually lose all houses and everything in them and all businesses, and only the house you are actually LIVING in will be sold and the furniture either packed or sold (player's choice). I would recommend going into the houses and putting what you want in your family inventory, then selling each house. Then sell all non-residential properties and full business partnerships. Do all this before you use the Move option, or you won't get another chance to do it and will lose everything. You will have to buy new houses and businesses once you have settled into a new town. You can't rent out a house you're not living in. You can bring in roommates to the house you are living in, and they will pay rent, but I could find no way to make the roommates go to another owned house and stay there; there isn't even an option to assign a bed in the extra houses. The roommates wouldn't travel to the other house(s) autonomously, and I couldn't control them to make them go. I assumed that if I used the "moviemaker" cheat and forced them to go, they would just come back to the main house once I stopped controlling them. So I didn't bother to try that. Your active Sim household can rent a house that's designated "apartment" property, but again, you can't rent it out unless you live in it and are willing to have roomies.
What happens if/when you kill all the people in your sims 3 town?
I was just wondering what would happen if you were to kill everybody in your sims 3 town. Like you know how if you kill everybody in your household then it tells you to pick another one in the same town, and you don't start a new town. What were to happen if you killed every single person in every single household of a town? I was just wondering.
Sims 3: How to move sims to new town?
I don't know why it's glitching, but you can move them the old fashioned way if the glitch doesn't resolve itself. Go into Edit Town and click on the icon for your Sims' household. Choose to save the household to the library. If you want them to live in the same house, choose to "move" them with the house. If you'd rather move them into a new house in Starlight Shores, choose to move them without the house. Quit the game and start a new save in Starlight Shores. When the game prompts you to choose a household, instead choose to place/move in a household. Your Sims' household should be the first one in the options at the bottom of the screen. If you moved them with the house, find an empty lot to place it. If you moved just the Sims, find a house they can afford. The advantage to using the in-game move option is that it places your Sims in the new town at the same day and time they left the old one, and it will be the same season as when they left (if you have Seasons installed). But, the old way of moving them will do just fine. They'll maintain their relationships to each other, their skills, and their career progress.

If you want to move your sims out of a house, you hit the button, called move family. This will take all their money and move them into the family bin. You can then select them into another house in the same neighborhood. You cannot move them to a different neighborhood. Hope I helped, and have fun!
How do you change towns on the Sims 3 ?
Well, you cant exactly "move". But you can move out your family from their house (they can just move out, or the home will be attached with them. You will get the choice) and they will appear on the clipboard. Then, click on them and click save to library. Then go to the main menu and start in the new town you want to live in. Your family will be in the library and you can move them into a new house in that new town. Hope this helped
How can I move my sims to a different town in sims 3?
So I've moved my sims to a different town before using either their cell hone or computer but this time it's not working. I'm trying to move from Moonlight falls to Hidden Springs and so my sims get to the edge of town and then it says "Due to unexpected circumstances, the move has been cancelled" I rwad somewhere that you have to like save your family or something but I just want to make sure that they have all of their money and family inventory when they move, because it took a long time to get a lot of time to get the crap and money that they have. help?
Can I get a free new town on Sims 3 Xbox 360?
I was creating sims for moonlight valley and I chose save family. Then a prompt popped up on my Xbox 360 and said something like "If you save your family you will be able to move them to new towns." or something like that. ARE there anyother free towns in sims 3 xbox 3600 besides moonlight valley? If so how do I get them, I am getting so bored with the same lots, people, and places. Thank you!
