How do I view all my photos from emails with the new Yahoo Mail?
Unfortunately, the option is no longer available in the new version. I finally contacted a yahoo rep and was advised they removed this option....no good explanation given....The only way you can bring them up now is to find the email that contains the photo. This means you have to check your inbox....sent folder or any other place you may have saved them. You can also use MAIL SEARCH on your email page and enter something that relates to that email...IE: senders email address or subject matter ...to bring up that email. You can also enter PHOTOS and/or ATTACHMENTS in this search box, which brings up many, if not all, of your emails that has attachments/photos. I loved that option, but apparently Yahoo does not...=)) This is how to go back to Classic ... if you want to.. Go to , http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ym... and click on "click here" that follows "However, if you do not want to upgrade".

Why cant i attach a photo to my email?
Sounds like you have a slow internet connection or you use dialup. It can take that long for dialup. No-one needs a 1.7mb picture unless they plan to make a wall sized blowup. Us a photo editor to reduce the size to about 100-200kb.

I found two methods that solved the problem for me when I was not able to attach files to Yahoo! Mail. The first solution was to use a different web browser instead of Internet Explorer to get to Yahoo! Mail. If I go through Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer to get to Yahoo! Mail then I am able to attach files in Yahoo! Mail. The second solution was to change a setting in Internet Explorer. On the upper right of the screen, click: Tools From the menu that appears, click: Compatibility View settings From the window that appears, click in the box to set a check mark next to: Display all websites in Compatibility View To save and close this setting, click: Close After I send the email I go back and remove the check mark because if I don't, it messes up other things. I only use this setting to send attachments in Yahoo! Mail. Both of these methods worked for me.

i had an album with lots of very important pictures of my children. And one of a baby girl who I thought of as a nice which passed away quite some time ago. I have not been in this album in quite some time now. I can not find it now. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas where they may have gone. i'm trying to attach word docs to my outgoing yahoo email and no matter what browser i use, it doesn't work. this does work for my gmail account from the same computer and for other yahoo users using the same computer. I can attach and upload the same files to other sites, just not for my personal yahoo account. I also cannot open files i have saved in my yahoo folders. I've deleted some old files to increase the space of my account but this has not worked either. please help. many thanks.

If you are using web based Yahoo Mail, you cannot embed pictures or other graphics. The only way is to use an email client program, like Outlook , Thunderbird or Yahoo Mail plus , that does allow embedded images
