What Is A Good Acronym For Fp

What does SCINC mean when Crocheting?

Good for you for trying! Most patterns have an "abbreviations list" that spell things out. Sometimes it's on a different page if you're working from a website and not a book. Late one evening I came across a knitting acronym I didn't know - typed it into Google with the word "knitting" and bingo! first link explained it! I tried it with this one, no luck. My guess is that this is either a misprint for "sc inc" (single crochet increase) or the author's own invention. Possibly it is explained in notes at the beginning of the pattern. AFAIK the only way to increase in crochet is to stitch twice into the same stitch, which is written "2 scs in the next stitch". Read ahead in the pattern and see if you can tell if increasing is intended at that spot.

If this doesn't work do an internet search for crochet stitches/instructions/abbreviations, etc.
Best of luck.

What do TMJ and FP stand for when describing bullet types?

I was looking at an ammo suppliers catalog under 357 Magnum ammo. I didn't recognize what these acronyms stood for when it comes to bullet types.

And yes, it is TMJ not FMJ.

What is functional programming and oriented functional programming?

Short answer: Functional programming is were functions are treated as a “first class data type.” That is functions may be:Assigned to a variable.Passed as a parameter to subroutineAnd Returned as value from a subroutine.New functions may be created and destroyed during execution.Object oriented programming is where:Objects are created at runtime with indefinite lifetimes.Objects are send “messages” which invoke behavior based on the object.Objects are hierarchal where an object may inherit behavior from parent object (base class). That behavior may be over ridden by redefinition of derived (leaf) objects.Object are first class data types.

What does FP stand for in stats?

A False Positive, or a type I error. A case in which the actual condition is a negative, but the generated result is a positive. For example, let’s say we are testing for the condition of a chicken crossing the road. The dataset includes no chickens, but our test says there is a chicken. That is a False Positive.

What does “FP” mean in rpg games?

In what RPG?In Dark Souls 3 its Focus Points, which is the blue bar along with your health and stamina and dictates how many times you can cast a spell or use special attacks. It could be FP in terms of first person? Destiny is an FPS MMO RPG but typically first person games are always described as an FPS even when there’s no shooting, such as Outlast. If you’ve written it incorrectly it could be FPS in terms of frames-per-second or the above first-person-shooter?Its hard to know without us knowing the game you’re talking about, though.

Is the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Certification from the Asssociation of Finance Professionals (AFP) worth doing as an FP&A professional?

$1000-$1400 just to apply and sit with another $1k for prep materials for a certification no one else has heard of (therefore no other materials exist and passing it without materials is a gamble)?Run far, far away. This is a certification that is not needed or required. If it was a few hundred all-in I'd say "ask your employer to pay for it if you have the free time", but the cost and relative obscurity reminds me of some certifications you see in the HR space. If someone actually applied with this thing I would possibly assume they had more money than brains.Certification is not a standard thing in the FP&A space. Some companies may require a CPA at the management levels just to prove some financial aptitude - but even this is in the "few and far between (but known)" classification. Some may value an MBA within management.Very few (and zero savvy, experienced professionals) will look at a CCFP&AP (I don't even know the acronym) and say: "let's hire that one!" because of it.

With regard to an IRA, what does "FPO" stand for?

Agreed - I couldn't find it in any standard acronym finder, either. Yet it is a commonly used acronym at Merrill Lynch. Check out the references below.

I plan to submit it to some of the bigger acronym sites as the definition was nowhere to be find on the web. (My latest statement from Hewitt Financial has "FPO" in the title of my new account as well.)
