Will this be a good $1500 PC build?
The build you list is more like a $2300 build because the price of the RTX 2080 is not included in your pcpartpicker list.As a general rule, you can get a great B450 motherboard for $150 less than the ROG Hero without sacrificing any features or quality. You could save an additional $120 by getting a 500GB Samsung EVO instead of the 1TB version. Then add a SATA SSD for games when you need to expand. You can get a lot of great 550W PSU’s for $45 rather than $90These changes will knock $320 off the current build cost for a total of $1800.Spend a few dollars extra and get a great case with a glass side panel to show off your RGB components and that awesome RTX card. This excellent Phanteks Eclipse P300 for $56 is a perfect example
Good pc part picker buildS for under $500?
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3vZtbX Only a 4c/4t CPU, but you really can't get any better on this budget without sacrificing a lot of GPU power. Ideal for gaming at 1080p 60 FPS high settings. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/c38nr6 6c/12t CPU would make it a lot better for streaming/video editing compared to the first link, but it has a significantly weaker GPU. It would only be able to do 1080p 60 FPS low/medium settings. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rc4y7W Intel/Nvidia build. Compared to the first one, it has a slightly more powerful CPU but the GPU is in between the first 2. It can do 1080p 60 FPS at medium settings. The motherboard also only has 2 RAM slots so if you wanted to upgrade to 16GB later you would have to buy 2x8GB instead of another 2x4GB.
Is a 500GB harddrive good enough for a gaming computer?
So im building a gaming computer and want to save as much money as I can. I just wanted to know if 500GB was enough storage for basic gaming (steam games, maybe some minecraft, and a little bit of internet surfing). Also I plan on putting Windows 7 home premium 32-bit and some other anti-virus stuff. Just wanted to know if its enough/ not enough, or if I could save some cash and buy a smaller one.
Cheap gaming computer?
well friend even though you mentioned that you wanted a "CHEAP' gaming PC it is quite necessary that you mention your intended budget. The "cheapest" custom build that I could recommend to you would probably be around $700 that could let you play all games on mid-high settings (complete gaming PC, I3-2100,H61 mobo,500gb hitachi HDD,8gb RAM,HD6770,500w corsair builder PSU, HAF912,dvd writer, logitech wireless K & M, windows 7 home premium OEM, acer 19.5"monitor -1600x900 resolution) EDIT : @anonymous thanks for clearing that up =P well if you don't know how to build one maybe you might have a friend who can do it for you and besides learning how to assemble a computer is pretty fun believe me, so try to watch tutorials at youtube (I did =P). BUT if you're really not cut out to building your own or you don't have afriend to assist you with this then a pre-built one is indeed your only choice, since I don't know your intended budget then I'll just give you this link of cyberpower PC's at newegg and just choose the one that meets your budget: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis...
Are these PC parts good enough to build a gaming pc for under 400 dollars?
Hi, I am just looking for some help on building a new lower end gaming PC. I have a budget of 400 dollars, but could save up more if it benefitted the buil. My max budget is 600$. These are the parts I have found so far: AMD Athlon II X3 455 Rana 3.3GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Desktop Processor ADX455WFGMBOX G.SKILL Value Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9S-4GBNT APEX AL-D500EXP 500W ATX12V Power Supply SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card (11192-22-20G) BIOSTAR A780L3B AM3 AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3500641AS-RK 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive APEX TX-381-C Black Steel Micro ATX Tower Computer Case SONY Black SATA DVD-ROM Drive Model DDU1681S-0B - OEM So, there are a couple of things I am looking for: 1) Are these parts all compatible with eachother? 2) Is this setup good enough to run modern games at low-medium settings at a decent fps (30-60)? 3) Is there anything I should change to get a more effective/cheaper setup for a low end gaming computer? 4) Am I missing anything that I should have? Any response would be appreciated. The parts I have so far come out to $385.43

Okay first off I have never built a computer before but I know a little about them, not an extreme amount. I need a desktop and I need something to learn about for my senior experience project. Heres what I have so far Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119196&cm_re=coolmaster_stormscout-_-11-119-196-_-Product Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727 GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150506 RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231180 Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131402 Disk Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827106292 Hard drive: Unknown Okay so all of this was reccomended to me from some guy here on yahoo answers. He recomended a case without a powersupply so I just chose the case with one because im really new to this. Do I have everything I need? And is there anything else that I should have chose differently? I heard that I needed a case with at least 4 fans but I dont know which brand to trust or if anything is compatiable. I just need a little guidance because my wallet and my diploma is resting on this.
