If you have some starting capital, start hiring people online. There are portals for that nowadays like Upwork, Freelaner.com, Behance and more. While hiring people for various projects, keep track of those who were the best (professionally and easy to work with). Your list of great past hires will grow with time, though it takes years because there will be tons and tons of bad hires, failed projects, missed deadlines, misunderstandings etc. Be a fair employer and pay more than market average. You’d be surprised (or maybe not) about just how many people are there who will be willing to work on stuff if you pay them. For many tasks and roles there will be dozens, even hundreds of people willing to do the work.If you have no money and want to just partner up with some other indie devs - expect conflict about the direction of the project and then about splitting profits.Btw I had both.My attempt to start a “team” with 5 other people failed miserably because at least 2 people seriously disagreed about the game’s design and no one (except myself who was the guy with the money) cared if the game would be profitable. Instead everyone just wanted to make a game in the genre/style they liked themselves.The other route (just hiring freelancers and giving tasks) worked nicely. I suppose, the system with freelancers is also much more efficient than studios with desks and day jobs because freelancers feel more comfortable working from home, get paid more, you get lower costs (taxes are on their side, equipment is theirs, and there is office rent), and freelancers are more motivated to work efficiently (because they are paid for completed milestones, not for the hours they sat out in the office).How do you get starting capital? What is the best online game to play to meet new people?
WoW is free to play until lvl 20, that will give you plenty of time to meet people there, I know from personal experience that you can meet a lot of different people there, from professionals who own their own business, to stay home parents, as well as the usual teenager and younger kids. Rift is the same thing, the only difference is that this game is free to play 4 ever and a lot of people I met in wow actually moved over to rift when it first launched. Join either one and try to get into a social guild there you can chat and meet new people, hope you have fun :)

There are a ton of games that provide talk feature thee days like clash of clans, pubg, fortnite . ideally, you should be looking for a game you enjoy, but if you’re goal is to meet new people, try virtual life games.my top picks are-1- avakin life- its an interesting game where you have to create an avatar and you can interact with people from anywhere in the world. they keep adding new stuff regularly so it’s updated fairly frequesntly. its control are easy an offers almost all features like dancing, emotes, poses etc. earning in game currency is easy too. tbh, i’ve met my closest frieds thru avakin2- imvu- another real life simulation. its great too. it kinda gets boring pretty soon but if u want to meet people its great. ypu can get it on pc or phone.3- second life- its a pc game. it offers easy controls and a vast world. literally everything that exists here exists on the game too. it has a lot of stuff in it so u wont get bored. however, its community has been stagnant for years and there are a lot of hackers on it. it’s a great game tho if you ignore the communties inactiveness and hackers.i would recommend avakin life over all the games.have a great day
