What Is A Taper Fade And Would It Fit Me If I Have A Round Face Someone With Experience

Hairstyle for round face?

http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/long/images/round-face-jones.jpg
this is my hairstyle, and it works perfect for my round face. Anything wavy/ slightly curly with volume is definitely going to thin out the face.

Haircut Ideas? Fine blonde hair and inverted triangle face shape?

An inverted triangle face shape is widest across the forehead while a heart is widest across the cheekbones. An inverted triangle face from the cheeks tapers sharply to a pointed chin. A heart face can have a round or pointed chin. The neck shape also needs to be considered. If a guy with an inverted triangle face shape has a strong, athletic neck shape, it will change the appearance of the lower face and jaw. A faux hawk suits relatively few guys and will not suit a face with a pointed chin. Instead of creating the illusion of an oval face shape(considered the ideal shape) with a more blocky than rounded skull shape(when viewed from the front) which is the object of analyzing the face shape to select a hair style, a faux hawk will create the illusion of a diamond face shape. Any of the following regular medium to short barber shop styles should be able to be designed to fully suit most guys with a heart or inverted triangle face shape.

Search the internet for images of football(soccer) star Lukas Podolski for examples of ivy league and crew cut styles. A minute dab of control wax aka butch wax will keep the hair looking well groomed at crew cut and ivy league length. A butch comb also helps with grooming the short pomp styles- the small, flat, plastic, oval, pocket brushes that one finger fits through and barbers sell for about a dollar. A boar bristle military brush is usually available for a few dollars and while too large for a guy to carry in his pocket, is nice to have at home.

Whats the best haircut for a guy with a round face?

The general idea with a round face is to lengthen the face vertically and narrow its width to make it appear oval, considered the perfect face shape. This is accomplished with a style that has the hair fairly close on the sides and where the forehead is partially to completely free of hair and maybe with a little height at the front hairline. A barber with a good aesthetic sense can usually design a regular layer/taper cut or one of the short pomp(pompadour) styles-crew cut, ivy league(long crew cut), flat top crew cut- to fully suit most young guy's head shape, face and neck shape, frontal hairline and facial features including a guy with a round face since these styles include the parameters that make a round face look oval. Start with a longer style and then if you want a shorter style, try it next haircut.

Search the internet for images of soccer stars Steven Gerrard and Lukas Podolski for numerous examples of the ivy league and crew cut style. A minute dab of control wax will keep the hair looking well groomed at crew cut and ivy league length. I prefer krew comb, jar variety. What is my face shape?

lol when I saw the first pic I was like, similar to Kate Mosse's face shape. Then I read the rest :) You have nice bone structure. Your face is most definitely NOT a diamond shape. Your jaw is not shaved from the sides and it doesn't point down vertically and from what I can tell your forehead doesn't taper, your temples are just narrower than your prominent high cheekbones.

I've seen Kate Moss being lumped in the oval category and it just phased me. But the theory is if you can fit your face into the shape of an oval and nothing exeeds or recedes from the edge, you're an oval. I can't see the length of your face because of your bangs but you look like a round square combo, because your jaw is horizontal, not vertical (typical of most square shapes) but it isn't angular so it fits a little in the round category. What makes this hard is your curved yet horizontal jaw.

Your jaw isn't v shaped (vertical and narrow) and your forehead isn't an upside down v. Looking at your jaw alone, it looks short so it makes the eye think you're a square or round but then your forehead looks high so from what I can tell you would fit well in the oval and not the round. But your cheekbones are high and prominent! The thing I'm trying to say is that your jaw and forehead are just as present so I would be warry of diamond face shape guides. This is what I think of as a diamond face shape: http://www.insideoutstyleblog.com/2012/08/best-hairstyles-for-your-face-shape-diamond.html Notice the tapering of the jaw and forehead! You don't have that at all.

Check the other posts on that website, they're good but the face shape ones suck, the other advice is good. You can also see her post on face shapes when she draws an oval around her face to show what an oval face is.

Conclusion: you're probably an oval with some really good bone structure. If you had an angular jaw though, I would say you were more of a square with a high forehead. I really hope this helps. I have the same "problem" with my cheekbones and it makes it really hard but if you look at the blog you'll see that the shape of each feature you have and the length plus width of your face is more important than your "face shape".

Do taper fades look good on asians?

I don't think race has anything to do with it. Do what you want :) if you don't like it don't worry your hair will grow back !
