What Is An Ice Cream Phobia Called

What is the phobia for fear of coral reefs?

There doesn't seem to be one. It is simply a fear of them, not a phobia. The reason someone might fear a coral reef is no doubt unique to the person with the fear. It would not be a common fear, and certainly not a phobia. I fear peach ice cream--true! The reason is because I associate it with a very sad day in my childhood, but there is no phobia named for fear of peach ice cream; it is personal for me, as coral reefs must be for you or someone you know.

Popsicle Stick Phobia?

I think I have this weird texture phobia. Like, if I'm having a popsicle, and I bite into the wooden stick, it's like nails on a chalkboard. Seriously. I'll have to stop eating it. It's not like I'm SCARED of the stick, it's just really...grating. Am I the only one?

How do you say fear of the taste of wood in phobia?

EDITED:
Hi Andy, there's no one word for it. Usually, you will have to classify it into a phrase such as:

[I have a "Geumophobia on wood."] - meaning "I have a fear on tasting wood"

PREVIOUS:
It's not the wood itself. You just have a phobia for unfamiliar taste called Geumophobia

Is there such thing as a fear of ice cream scoopers?

I really hate those ice cream scoopers that are made of that awful metal stuff. If its a shiny metal, then its fine. But the chalkey kind makes me have really bad chills. Especially if I just washed my hands. Also, I hate touching unpolished wood or paper after I wash my hands. Is there a name for that either?

Does anyone know the name for the phobia of wet wooden spoons and wooden ice cream sticks?

Lewis, I've read lots of phobia websites (they are great reading), but yet to see the ones you are looking for!

But then I could have missed them - there are just so many.

What is the weirdest phobia you’ve ever heard of?

Pagophobia. Fear of Ice. Frigophobia. Fear of the cold.I detailed in another Quora answer about how one gentleman was so afraid of ice, and the cold, he had moved to Texas. He was still living a reclusive life.He would call me before he came to eat at the restaurant to make sure there was an available seat out of ear shot of tinkling ice cubes, the salad bar, the bar. Thst, the back room was empty.I don't believe I remember ever seeing him with another person. I just realized that.I had to escort him, standing at first on his right side, past the bar, and then between him and the salad bar on the left side.Pleasant man, but can you imagine being afraid of ice?Nor could he stand anything cold. His ice cream dessert was microwaved first.Seriously. We spoke in code, it was the hot cream dessert.
