What is my face shape and what hairstyle would suit it?
Over the years, hair stylists and make up artists have come up with a system to help their customers chose the best haircuts and makeup placement (think contouring) to help them present a ‘balanced’ appearance.As an example, a person is said to have a “heart-shaped face” if they have a pointy chin and a broad forehead.Here’s a chart that describes the different shapes:Where makeup comes in, someone with a Round Face would want to place their blush in such a way as to create / define a hollow under their cheekbones. I will say, just from personal experience, that it’s “just hair” - it will grow back. So if you have a square face and are told to never ever do a short bob - go for it if you want to try short hair. Just make sure to tell the stylist to leave the front longer (asymmetrical) - that way you have longer strands in the front to soften the look.
What is my face shape? What hair style suits me?
My self esteem is really low because of this. I don't like my face, neither do I like my hair, it doesn't fit me. I am 14 years old and I'm a girl who does not have any friends because of this situation. People randomly come up to me and asks me why I have such a long face and people can't even look at me when they talk to me, they always look at different directions and each time I try to talk to someone they ignore me. I want to know what my face shape is, and also what type of hair styles suits me.( I want to have bangs/scene hair but I'm afraid that won't suit me at all. ) I always put my hair in a pony tail and I'm never able to let it be free. One thing is for sure; I look terrible, I look like a neuter, it just doesn't suit me at all! My hair is naturally messy and curly, but I straightened it permanently, it still doesn't suit me. I guess being bald is better? What are some emo/scene hairstyles for a heart face shape?
Just because you like a certain style of hair and stuff doesn't necessarily entail that you are emo lol. I love the scene mullets and fun clothes, but I definitely don't consider to be scene because of the way I live my life. So if you want something bold I would go for tons of short choppy layers on top but leaving the length or making it longer. Of course you can't go without the side bangs too, that usually makes a heart/round face look very cute! On the top have chunky blonde and red highlights--You can decide what shades would be best for your hair. then on bottom do dark dark brown or black.....I personally would like to do this to my hair, but my hair is spiral curls and I have no patience to straighten it everyday ha ha Can't locate any pictures that would demonstrate what I'm talking about but if you like that idea I can search my butt off for you to find some! Just let me know!
