What Is This Phobia Called?
Okay, I'm a 14 year old girl. I am scared to DEATH of the Grinch. I mean, I never really liked Dr. Suess, but I'm not afraid of his stories and movies. However, my blood runs cold when I hear his horrible name, see a picture of him, just anything Grinch related. I had a nightmare as a small child that the Grinch murdered me. As far as I know, no one else has this phobia. So, do you know a name for it? As do you know anyone else who has this phobia? Thanks.
What is this phobia called?
The fear of a fetus, embryo or developing unborn creature in an egg or womb. It is not tocophobia, as that is the fear of child-birth; in relation to giving birth and/or pain etc. It is the fear of an alien like thing, which looks sinister with a heart beating sound and viens explosed to people's view. And even a fear of the womb it's self, being this place of darkness that you could be trapped in for all of eternity. I mean, how do you know this world and reality that we live isn't actually a long dream; and what is infact the real reality, is that you are asleep as a fetus in the womb. All of this reality is nothing more than a figment of your imagination; think about that with the lights of whilst looking at one of these pictures and while listing to a heart beating and tell me what you feel like emotionally, disturbed maybe. What is the name of that sort of phobia, I cannot find a name for it? I have looked all over the place.

Fear of being chased.. (If you look it up, it is NOT Luposlipaphobia- the fear of being chased around a kitchen table by timber wolves while wearing socks on a newly waxed floor) I'm just scared of being chased period. I didn't like playing tag when I was younger.. and all those chasing games.. I'm not afraid of running or being flirty and people following (My boyfriend) or vanything.. but being chased is something else... It's like Hmm..Like someone with a knife is chasing you... Thats how I feel.. I freak out to summarize it.. Okay so yeah.. Can you tell me the name of that fear.. if their is..
What is this phobia called.?
Otohaptephobia maybe? A blend of Oto, from the Greek for Ear and Haptephobia, fear of being touched. Edit; I made up my answer based on what I could find about other phobias, but Kaciraffphobia is uncited and, if true, it implies fear of touching ears in general, not the fear of having one's own ears touched, which is a big distinction.
