What Game Capture Card is Best For me? I Plan to Record and Stream Wii Gameplay in Good Quality. What is best?

I am a competitive Smash player and I plan to get a game capture card to record matches. I have a Nintendo Wii which is what I use to play Melee, Brawl, and Smash 64. I want to record in the best quality possible. I looked up a few capture cards I can't choose. The Happauge HD PVR looks like it would be a good choice, but a little too expensive for my price range, pricing at about $160. The AverMedia C281 looks like the cheapest choice, pricing at about $110. But the Happauge HD PVR 2 caught my attention because it includes StreamEez, which will be very useful because I plan to stream matches with my buddies in the future. However, I do not know if the HD PVR 2 is compatible with the Nintendo Wii. In addition, I plan to commentate these matches as well. So I don't know which product would be best for high quality commentary. If there is a much cheaper product that I'm missing out on that has all the features that I need, please let me know. I want to be able to record quality commentary while staying at a price range not too extreme. I have never owned a game capture device so I am new to all of this. If someone could recommend a product that is best for my situation, that would be great. Also, a link to the product would help too. Thank you all very much.

(Also, just to confirm, I have a Nintendo Wii. NOT a WiiU. I repeat, NOT a WiiU)

What is the best game capture card to use to upload clips on a computer for editing?

Short answer: the best card you can afford.I’m not a hardcore gamer, so you might get more specific info from Twitch user groups or gaming enthusiast forums, but here are the basics. The latest graphics cards (like the NVidia GeForce) are built to handle multiple streams of data at the same time, so if it plays your game well, you should be able to capture the screen quite well. For best results, try turning down the game framerate to 30fps, as that is the standard video framerate. IOW, if your game is running at 60fps, the capture software will only grab half of the frames, which would be a waste of the card’s processing power. If you are still getting dropped frames, turn down some of the game’s more processor-intensive effects, like reflections, shadows, mipmapping etc. (depending on the game). In terms of the capture software, play with different resolutions to get the best result — ie. smooth playback rather than an ultra high resolution picture.
