What is the best insurance company to work for?
this is a very Broad question! Depends on what your interest is and how much you want to make it your "career". I have worked for both the company and as an agent. I learned from both as they are similar but different. If you have both then you are well rounded. I would set my sights on a sales career with a direct writer or "captive" ins co if i were you. Like State farm, American Family Allstate etc. for starters. They send you to school for a month and assign you a territory . also the require you to have a license in all lines. (life and casualty). Its good experience. You learn the company and how to sell jointly. Stay there for 5-10-years then look around for more of a "niche" career in insurance like at an independent agency representing many different markets. Not just one. By then you would know what area of expertise you enjoy and then you can go to Town!!

The answer to this question really depends on you. Do you want to be a sales person doing all the work by yourself? If so, you can do that at any company. You make money off your own pen. But if you don't work, what will happen? You don't make any money. If you want to build a team and earn overrides and be a personal producer, then Primerica is something you should look at. In Primerica, if you have a team of licensed people and they do work, you get to earn overrides. So you can earn money without having to do anything. But in order to enjoy this part, you first have to personal produce because in the beginning, there is only you in your team. Only you can grow your team. Just for your info, Primerica is not an insurance company. Its a financial service company that helps middle income families get out of debt and become financially independent. They just own a life insurance company called Primerica Life and their own investment firm called PFS Investments Inc (which offers over 500 different mutual funds from various companies such as Fidelity, Oppenheimer, American Fund, Legg Mason Partners, etc). They have marketing agreements with Citicorp Trust Bank (which deals with mortgages and refinancing), Genworth Financial's Long Term Care, Prepaid Legal Services, ING's 401(k), and Answer Financial's Auto & Homeowner's insurance.

I have search only 2 big compnay Metlife and New York Life. I am 24 years old and want that whole life insurance for my life. So i want to know which compnay i need to choose for whole life insurance.... Metlife or New York Life ? I have quote from metlife Insurance...Agent told me my premium payment gonna be $3510.00 per anuual for $500,000.00 ( insurance amount). and i am 24 yeras old it has cash value too.. So i need some information from ur side...should i take it or ?
