What Is The Color Of My Eye

What color are your eyes?

My eyes are good ol’ brown! There they are, in all of their glory. In person (and without camera flash) they don’t look as yellowish on the outsides, but more of a warm brown with darker brown in the middle. Please excuse my wild and untamed eyebrows…They pretty much maintain the same coloring at all times, though when sunlight shines through them, they take on a lovely warm, golden color.Even though brown eyes are quite common, I’ve grown to love and embrace mine. They’re pretty awesome!

What color are my eyes?

Here are two quotes I found directly from wikipedia's page on eye color that I think answer your question.

"Some eye colors are too mixed to identify properly, and are identified as hazel for simplicity's sake."

"Hazel eyes often appear to shift in color from a light brown to a medium golden-green."

"Definitions of the eye color "hazel" vary: it is sometimes considered to be synonymous with light-brown, gold, or other times with green or dark green."

Even though you don't want to believe they're hazel wiki says they are, haha.

BLUE

What color are my eyes?

I would call them blue or teal. They're gorgeous btw.

What color are my eyes?

If you were my granddaughter I would say that your eyes are a beautiful amber. I suppose some would call them brown without taking into account the pretty yellow ochre on the outside of the iris. So amber it is. They are quite unusual and quite beautiful. Your are very fortunate. But remember it is not because of something that you have done or earned, you just got lucky. Good looks and a pleasing appearance are just lucky occurrences. Don’t let it go to your head. Beauty is fleeting and of course varies from culture to culture.

What is the color of my eyes?

I'd say your eye color is hazel. For most situtations involving iris color this sufficient. However, hazel's a bit more conplicated than other classifications making it difficult to really classify, and define.Hazle eyes are the result of being both brown/gold and green/blue. Because of this i'd further describe yours as having a predominate green overtone.Other overtones being: brown, gold, grey, and olive.Of course you have the most common occurring variation of hazel. Green iris with a gold pupillary ring, via central heterochromia. My eyes are of simillar color, hazel. Except my predominate overtone s olive/grey and my pupillary rings are more of a bright lime or cactus green, leaning into yellow.Even though we both have the same general eye color most would say we have completely different colors; and they would be right. This is what makes hazel hard to label, and why you've never been sure. But rest assured we really do have the same color; it's the spectrum and variety of possible appearabces that defines hazel eyes, not just visual appearance.
