What is the difference between a day time birds eyesight to a night time birds eyesight?
Hi, during the day birds can see even better than we do. they can see into the infer reds. which means they can see what has blood in it and what doesn't. this comes in handy in the wild one a bird can spot its predator from far away. in the dark birds have almost no vision. that is why they go to bed one the sun goes down. which is later in the summer and earlier in the winter. also birds rise with the sun and therefore in the summer they may get up quite early. so in the summer it may be necessary to cover them. my birds started to wake up at a quarter to five so in the summer i cover them. in the winter they do not really need a cover because the sun comes up later in the morning. if you have any further questions i would be happy o help. email me at lizzie10157@yahoo.com
What is difference between twilight and daylight?
There are two Twilight periods: just before sunrise or after sunset. You can get much more info from wikipedia. Apparently, there are more definitions than I thought, but I am sticking to my definition above. Daylight on the other hand is not that easy to define. It may include twilight as well. It is the light that is visible in the daytime from the sun whether directly or indirectly
