What Is The Name Of This Piercing/hole Thing

White stuff coming from ear piercing hole?

I've had my ears pierced for over 12 years, and rarely wear earrings. I noticed when I squeeze my ear lobe, white stuff comes out of the piercing hole (only a tiny bit). Also, there is a funky smell on my lobe. I wash my ears when I get a shower, which is every other day. I don't think it's an infection..

What could this be?

Piercing hole is infected and hard?

I got my ears pierced about 5 months ago the lobe. Well no infections so far until now I been wearing these cheap earnings from claires 5 dollars not sterling silver for about a month? No irritation ever until just a few days ago. My ear earning hole hurts and it is very hard like something is inside my hole i know it sounds crazy but I feel like theres a rock in there. I tried squeezing it out but almost if it was an object and cant push through the whole. Gross I know. But what do I do wtf is in my ear?

Keeping piercing holes open?

ive pierced my ears tons of times but they keep closing up, a friend told me i have to continue wearing the earrings if i want the hole to remain, but the issue here is my mom thinks its wrong for guys to wear earrings, so i cant wear them for months until maybe i enter college.

how can i pierce my ear and leave d hole open without an earring,
There should be a way.... using fire hot needle, putting alcohol or ice,.... there just has to be a way to stop it from closing, please help, its just 1 piercing on the left i wanna do.

Can you switch out the posts (the thing that goes through the piercing hole) of an earring without switching the actual earring itself? I have sensitive ears that can only handle pure gold posts, but a lot of cheaper earrings are made out of steel.

Yes. Have a jeweler remove the posts and a laser soldering service can tack new posts onto the backs. However, I’d wonder if you wouldn’t still have an allergic reaction to the metal on the back of the earring pressed up against your ear as well?

How can i i keep my piercing open without a earring?

If they don't allow piercings, I'm sure it has more to do with the fact of them getting ripped out rather than aesthetics, so having ANYTHING in your ear would not be allow, regardless of how visible it is. As far as I can remember you should have leave the original earrings in for at least a month, if not two, after the procedure. Your body needs time to heal...

I'm sure you could take them out for the two hours or so you will be playing, but it'll probably hurt like hell to put them back in, and you will be putting yourself at higher risk for infection. Or maybe you can just put medical tape over your earlobes to play.

Will ear piercing's hole be visible?

Most likely. I had a few extra piercings that healed up after one or two weeks, that you can't tell were ever there, but they weren't in for very long at all. A few were only in for a few days and the rest were only in for about a week.

The thing is that they were all in the hard part of my ear, every time my lobe is pierced and heals it leaves a scar. It just looks like a big pore (and yes, they sometimes have to be cleaned), but if it's in your ear, and especially if it's on your lobe... your father will be able to tell.

Would my nose piercing hole go smaller?

okay so I've had my nose pierced for 7 months and i have 2 of the L bar nose stud/ring thing that i only use ( I think thats what it's called) and its thicker than my other studs/rings I have. I want to change it to my other ones i have which are the ones the are straight not curved or anything but they're smaller in size and i'm worried that my nose hole will change to the size of the stud I put in. Will it do that or stay the same even if I have a smaller stud in?

Will my nose piercing hole shrink?

So I got my nose pierced 5 weeks ago with a needle. And the thing is, the doctor put a big earring in the hole because when it got pierced the hole was big (I pierced it before on the same spot then let it heal and repierced it) so yesterday I put a small nose stud and since the hole was big, I put a clutch or an earring back so it wouldn't fall and the hole would shrink. Will the hole really shrink? And if so how long will it take it to shrink?

What is the white stuff on the Inside hole of my lip piercing?

completely normal.

as your body heals it secretes fluid called lymph...this can be clear, white or even slightly yellowed. this is a good indication that your piercing is healing properly.

you should only be concerned if you've got fluid coming out that is green, red, brown or any other unusual color
