Can you give ebay a fake phone number?
You can put down a fake phone number. If you are a seller and one day someone tries to contact you and it doesn't work then they can report you. Ebay will then ask you to put in a real number or they may limit your selling ability. You can put whatever address in ebay and choose it when you check out. I use my friends account and have my items sent to his address but obviously under his name. I just pay with my paypal account.

i have tried so many times to enter a number on ebay, but it says Please enter the information in highlighted fields Telephone - The phone number field has bad characters. i entered it soo many times but it still doesnt work! what do i do i live in the uk by the way
How can i open an eBay account without a phone number?
do what everyone else does make up one eg 1234567 etc. but make one up that isnt likely to exist recently i got an email recently about people buying my products from ebay even though that wasnt my account! it was obvious my email was a secondary email somebody made up for their account, this could happen if you made up a number, if i had the knowledge and immorality i would try and hack that persons account...just make up one that probably doesnt exist..........or ask a trusted friend, sibling or parent of yours for theirs............

Invalid Phone number on ebay?
Everytime i go to sell something on ebay it tells me to update my contact information and when i enter my phone number so it can send me a PIN number it says my phone number is invalid. Does anyone else have this problem thats been solved or the know the correct way to go about solving this problem. Thanks so much

Ebay Pin number help?
Hi. I am trying to sell something on ebay for the first time. I came to a page where I had to recieve a pin number to continue. However, i accidentally entered the wrong phone number and could not get the pin number. I tried changing the phone number to send, but ebay kept telling me to "enter a valid phone number" It only sends the pin number when I entered my old number(which is the wrong phone number) Could anyone help me out?

If you are in the United states, you don't need to enter the 1, just enter the area code and then the phone number. If you are not in North America, make sure you are in the right site....ebay has different sites for different countries. go to www.ebay.com and scroll to the bottom. Select your country there.
