What Is This Tablet I Can

What can a tablet do without wifi?

The last question first. When you are traveling you can connect to the 'free' WiFi services at places like motels, Starbucks, McDonalds, etc. They normally expect you to buy something in exchange for using their free WiFi.

When you don't have a WiFi connection, you can play games or watch stored movies or listen to stored music that don't require a WiFi connection as others have mentioned. You can use various office tools to type up documents or use spreadsheets, etc. You can also use maps that you have downloaded while connected to WiFi and are now stored on the tablet. Some tablet and phone applications include satnav features, and although you might not be able to get voice directions or step by step on-screen guidance without and Internet connection, some map applications will show you a map that you have previously downloaded, and using the tablets GPS sensor will highlight your position on the map.

There are also calendar/diary programs so that you can keep track of appointments etc.

Most tablets include a camera that you can use to record scenes of interest.

You will need a WiFi connection, and probably an Internet connection to install many of these things, but once downloaded and installed, you can be free of the WiFi. Some tablets include a slot for a SD or a MicroSD card, so you can copy movies, sound tracks and pictures to the card on another computer and then insert the card in the tablet to make use of its contents.

I was in hospital for three weeks last year and no access to WiFi. I had installed plenty of music, films and books (both Kindle and Kobo books) on my tablet that kept me occupied for the whole of my stay.

I hope this helps.

Is it ok to cut zinc tablets in half?

They sell plenty of things that are hazerdous to ones health....
Would you like to know how many people I have seen have detrimental effects from taking too much retinyl palimitate (vitamin A), niacin, folic acid (by virtue that taking it changes how certain blood tests are interpreted....you can mask a nasty case of pernicious anemia by taking folic acid, oh and B12 for that fact), iron, copper, maganese? Lots....

I would certainly split those in half - especially if you take a multivitamin.

Lots of folks take zinc because its suppossed to help with testosterone production, or help clear skin...but what they dont realize is that after a few weeks, its actually weakens the immune system somewhat....so I only suggest whats in multivitamins, or at most - the equivalent of some of those zinc cough drops for a few days...

The best way to take zinc is with its "buddy" nutrients....and zinc is used in over 300 chemical reactions in the body....and its needs its buddies to do that....so your best bet is to take zinc in a multi-vitamin....most of those contain 22 mgs or so of zinc....and its buddies. Just to give you an idea how no nutrient "works" by itself...here is a copy of a metabolic pathways chart...

Which tablets can run Photoshop?

Adobe Photoshop only runs in Windows, and MAC OSX operating systems.

It doesn't run on Android tablets like the Samsung Galaxy or on iOS tablets like iPads. The only thing available for these is the very simplified Adobe Photoshop Touch app - which is nothing like the real Photoshop you get on computers.

However, if you can find a Windows 8 tablet (the full Windows 8, not the RT version) then it might be able to run Adobe Photoshop if it meets the minimum system requirements for the software.

Here is the Adobe Photoshop CS6 tech spec page displaying the minimum system requirements for running the software: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/...

Should I get the iPad Pro or the reMarkable tablet? I can get them both with no damage (money-wise). I was going to use the reMarkable for school to take notes, read, and doodle or draw, then send what was on there and touching it up on in the iPad.

Hi there!Well first of all, since cost is not an issue, both are great devices for you which are both very good at two distinct tasks. The reMarkable tablet is known for its pencil-and-paper experience to make digital note-taking, sketching, reading, and annotating feel more natural. The iPad (Pro with Pencil and maybe Smart Keyboard) is designed to be a lightweight digital computer experience, and with the pencil it makes a great note taking and drawing experience. The two both have their advantages;reMarkable TabletIf you’re looking for a better note-taking experience in terms of most realistic and pragmatic, I would go for the reMarkable. I feel this way because it is just designed for this, the whole experience is designed around the idea that digital note taking shouldn’t feel digital. In addition to its note taking prowess, the e-ink display (like those on kindles) affords a much better reading experience for books and other readable content with less eye strain and better readability in brighter settings.iPadIf you’re looking for a device that does it all (not necessarily perfectly) then the iPad Pro might be for you. I think that the main advantage of an iPad is the App Store and flexibility of usage that comes from it. Consuming content that’s not a book or a newspaper (in addition to those of course) is a lot better on the iPad. The large screen is perfect for movies, tv, reading, playing games, and also browsing the web. With the iPad Pro Pencil, you can also create high fidelity drawings using a plethora of creative apps. Note taking on iOS 11 is great too, a simple tap of the pencil on the lock screen opens up a lined note pad where you can just draw and write. I will say however, writing on the glass surface takes some adjustment. With the optional keyboard, you can extend your usage of the iPad to creating documents and drafting emails, all in addition to the apps and features included within the Apple ecosystem (FaceTime, iMessage, etc.)If you think that one of those descriptions seems to fit your usage better, then you’ve found your answer!I hope this helpsNikhil

Can I split 10mg Maxalt tablets?

Yes you can. If you take Maxalt-MLT (US brand name) or Maxalt-RPD (Canadian brand name) they are sublingual and should not be split.

If you were specifically directed to take 10 mg then call your doctor before changing the dose. It is not good to take too much but it is also not good to take less than prescribed (people do it often and it is a problem). So you might need to call your doctor if you are unsure.

I also recommend people take the sublingual version (it melts under your tongue and works more quickly).

And I am not sure if you have taken Treximet but I would not. Generic Imitrex (sumatriptan) and naproxen is cheaper.

Good luck with the Maxalt, I had horrible migraines for two years and Maxalt was the only thing that helped, even opioid narcotics did not help me much.

Can anyone eat glucose tablets?

Nope. The person who said that you can go into a 'diabetic coma' is.. sorely mistaken. A can of cola contains 40 grams of carbs (from sugars or corn syrup.) A glucose tablet contains -five- grams of carbs.

There is no way, whatsoever, that as a non-diabetic your blood sugar can go dangerously high for consuming them- it would not, as a non-diabetic, go high even if you ate a pound of sugar straight from the bag.

Even if you eat 8, because you somehow like the sickeningly sweet taste, in a row, it's just like drinking a can of regular cola. If you ate 16, two cans of cola... and so on.

Completely harmless.

I can't draw well, should I buy a drawing tablet?

I recently started drawing and I'm not very good. I have Photoshop CS5 and I've barely learned how to use it. Would it be smart to buy a drawing tablet or should I continue to draw with pencil and paper till I'm better at it. Would a tablet help improve my drawing skills?
