What Is Your Favorite Korean Names

What are the favorite Korean names and Meanings?

You would have to get the Chinese characters for each of the 2 parts of the name and choose from the meanings of the Chinese characters. There's usually more than 1 meaning for each character. -- I'm not Korean but I live in Korea[having mostly Korean friends here/Korean boyfriend] and have been studying Korean for a while now. I adopted a Korean name: Sun Young .. and with the Chinese characters I choose for it, it means Good-Natured Flower. As for how they are written, Of course in Korea it's written in 한글 -- So ... Jun Pyo would be 준표. -- When writing with romanization and on official Korean documents with romanization it's usually written like ... "Gu JunPyo" from what I have seen on passports and such. But people writing it out generally put a space "Gu Jun Pyo"

What are the names of your favorite Korean rappers?

Sit down, buckle up and take notes. And please stan those artists. q-qKeezyHis name is Ki Hyun Lee, born on the 9th February 1994. This handsome young dude looks like a macho but OMFG he is the softest marshmallow on this planet. Good flow, soothing voice and has a pure heart. He is Canadian-Korean and therefore fluent in English and Korean. He also speaks Japanese (dunno how fluent). Maybe you remember him from the Korean rap show SMTM. Now the sad part: Ki Hyun is currently serving in the military. Which is why his fandom suffers from seasonal depression and is desperate for his return which will be around summer 2020, we suppose.On soundcloud: 키지(Keezy)2. FlowsikPak Dae-sik, born 5th April 1985, is the definition of underrated underdog. Are you looking for a deep voice (like REALLY deep), a humble personality and a highly skilled artist? Flowsik is your answer.3. Tiger JKSeo Jung-kwon, born July 29, 1974, is nearly an ancient figure in Korean Rap and someone many younger rappers look up to. He looks like a grim reaper, which is why I like him even more - lol.Korean Rap has so many talented and great artists, I don’t really have time to include them all so I just picked randomly the first 2 who came across my mind + Keezy (you guessed it, huge fan lol).The Korean Rap scene is not limited to Idols and let me tell you, the most talented rappers are usually not idols. Sorry not sorry.

What is your favorite Korean girl name?

well personally i like "Aejung". i feel that my own korean name Ji-ae is a little plain and although i love the meaning behind it, i personally dont really like it. also "Aejung" has the same "ae" hanja as my real korean name^^

Aejung: 애정; means "love (usually romantic, but mostly only as a literary term), affection, devotion, tender feelings; hanja (this is important) 愛情

PS: the reason why the hanja is important is because depending on the hanja, the meaning changes. while there is Aejung 愛情, meaning love, there is also Aejung 哀情, meaning pity, sympathy, compassion

What's your favorite male korean name?

Mine are Jin Ho, Jung Ho, Seung Hyun, and Young Jae

Jin HO--> jewel lake;
Young Jae--> forever prosperous;
Jung ho (not sure about this one) hanja(Chinese Characters) for Jung means brilliance and hanja for Ho means grand/vast so maybe--> immense brilliance?
(haha); and I have not idea for Seung Hyun though I would like to have the hanja be these 成鉉 (idk what it means haha)

even for the same names, there is no definite meaning because the Chinese characters can be different from name to name, even though they sound alike :] my name came is the korean version of a name in the Bible, so it doesn't have hanja or korean meaning..:[..haha

Who is your favourite korean actor?

Lee Jong Suk. Hands down, he’s my absolute favorite, ever since School 2013.I think it’s the combination of depth an actor can put into the character combined with action and aegyo. I tend to prefer some balance of femininity in the look. I don’t either choose based on who I think is most handsome, but whose acting sucks me in the deepest.I follow everything he is in pretty religiously, with the exception of his adventures in Chinese entertainment where he was dubbed, and some early work that doesn’t interest me, I have just seen some clips he was in.Others, in two tiers, and have loved in some drama or another, but I will bold those I have followed to other dramas:Song Joong Ki. Park Bo Gum. Lee Min Ho. Gong Yoo. Lee Jun Ki. Seo In Guk. Lee Sun Gyun. Kim Soo Hyun. Nam Joo Hyuk.Lee Chang Wook. Park Seo Joon. Choi Siwon. Jo In Sung. Do Kyungsoo. Ryu Jun Yeol. So Ji Sub. Ji Hyun Woo. Kim Woo Bin. Park Hae Jin. Jung Il Woo.And since actresses are also actors, my favorites include:Gong Hyo Jin. Shin Min Ah. Kim Yoo Jung. Kim Seul Gi. Jung Eun Ji.Park Shin Hye. Jang Na-ra. Hwang Jung Eum.I probably missed some, but the tier 1 is pretty accurate :)Some notables I left off the list, that I followed early on - Hyun Bin. Kim Sun Ah. Kim Jae Won. Nam Goong Min. Lee Jang Woo.Lee Bo Young and Ji Sung (who are married in real life) area also good.I actually have some others that I like, particularly the older, more seasoned actors and actresses, but there are so many that appear across multiple dramas. I think these are two of the ones I remember best - Lee Mi Sook. Ahn Nae Sang.

Did you ever have Korean food? What is your favorite Korean food?

Korean food is certainly one of my favorite cuisines due to the high variety of lean proteins mixed with a bevy of side vegetables or dishes called “banchan”. I’m a firm believer that sticking to a traditional Korean diet will not only keep you healthy, but help you lose a ton of weight.Now, much like Indian cuisine, Korean food is very complex, pungent, difficult to make at home, and expensive to eat out. I think with the new push of the Korean Wave, also known as Hallyu, has helped bring more Korean cuisine into the spotlight.This has helped make Korean dishes, such as Kimchi, Bulgogi (marinated ribeye grilled to perfection), and even some stews like Soon Dooboo Jjigae (spicy silk tofu stew) to become mainstream. However, my absolute favorite Korean food and one that is surprisingly easy to make at home is Bibimbap.Bibimbap means “mixed rice” and is essentially a complete meal in a bowl. Some of the sauces are things you can online or at your local Korean grocery, but the other ingredients can be found pretty much anywhere. That means even you can make this at home. Here’s a recipe or ingredients guide for DIY Bibimbap.12 Essential Ingredients for the Best Bibimbap Recipe Ever - Asian Dieting
