How to pass the Army TAPAS personality test?
my husband went to MEPS yesterday and passed the asvab with a 47 (not great, but whatever). He also passed his physical with no problems. He had to take the TAPAS test, which he had no idea about; his recruiter never mentioned it to him. You'd think if it could possibly DQ you, then the recruiter should have said something to him. They told him after he took the test, that the requirements for the test changed this month. He passed the WD and the CD but made a 59 on the adjustment part. originally you had to pass only the WD and CD, but now you have to pass only the adjustment part. My husband has 78 college credit and has a HS diploma. Is there anyway to get around this? his recruiter said that if he would have made a 50 on the asvab, his TAPAS score wouldn't matter. But I thought they made people with a GED take this test. Can someone "shed some light" for me. thanks!

Is it easy to pass the TAPAS test at Meps?
That depends on you. The TAPAS is a personality assessment test, not a general knowledge test. Yes, a lot of people do fail it, because their personality is not a good fit for the military.
Has anyone took the TAPAS test at meps?
There's no need to ask the same question more than once. Be patient, and I'm sure someone will answer. I took the test, but it was in 1982, and even if I remembered the questions, I'm sure they've changed by now. Anyway... be patient. Someone will answer.
Army Tapas?
I agree with the other anonymous answer, it is really simple and I personally believe they shouldn't let people take it twice because it speaks volumes if you fail it. I'll give you the advice my recruiter told us tapas takers: Don't necessarily choose the answer that describes you, choose the answer that sounds best. For example the two choices are: A "I don't usually get mad but when I do people better watch out" B "I don't exercise as often as I should" Corrects answer: B. Never choose the answer that makes you seem: most anti-social or that involves you having a short temper/ or angry. EDIT: Oh I thought of an even better example: A "I don't usually get upset but when I do I go off" B "I try not to do more than what is required of me" Sometimes both choices are "bad" but one is worse. In this case, B again because anything is better than letting them think you lose your temper or are anti-social
Us air force tapas test?
i just took my asvab and after i completed it i had to take a tapas test. it was like a personality test. i have two questions. is this required for all branches of the military? what do they use this for?
