What Services Should I Offer To People For Money

Website people offer random services for money?

I ran across a website that offered random online services for money. Such as editing a photo, making a collage, making websites, ect.
Kind of like etsy, but specifically for tasks that could be completed over the web.
Anyone know of the URL?

Why do people accept money for goods and services?

You accept it only because you know that others will in turn accept it for you as payment for goods and services. If other people generally accepted turnips, but not currency, you would accept turnips.
At one time currency in most countries was backed by precious metals, to which you had the right of exchange. No longer. Just faith that others will accept it, too. Occasionally, that faith disappears and the currency of teat society becomes worthless.

What service do most people pay money for, that you think is a scam?

Bottled water delivery. After working for a company that tested bottled water with a laser that identified bacteria types and numbers in the bottled water, I stopped buying water. It was shown to me that tap water was safer. The new outrageously priced boxed dinners. People are actually paying over $20 for a small box of veggies and often have to add their own protein? Seriously? That is a scam to me.Amazon prime - a paid subscription service where Amazon holds certain services unavailable unless the subscriber pays extra. Why bother?Cable, at least in Las Vegas. You can put an antenna up and pull in the same channels for the most part, excluding specialty cable networks. With cable you pay about $100 plus a month and see basically the same things. Digital antennas are free.People to install fences. This is probably the most simplistic thing a person can do themselves. There really is nothing to it. Measuring, digging a hole and putting the post in and adding cement. Nailing or screwing fencing up? Seriously?

Should I give money to homeless people?

whenever i see a homeless person, i feel SOO badly for them because they dont have homes (obviously) and i always want to give them money, just so they can get something to eat, or put it in their savings or whatever. but when i went to nyc, my group leader kept telling us not to give money to the homeless people (which i thought was odd, seeing as i was with a church group...) anways...he said that 90% of homeless people spend the money they get on drugs/alcohol. but i still feel bad, because what if they dont?
idk....
what do you guys think?!

Do churches give people money?

Apparently it depends on the church you belong to.I attended Roman Catholic Churches until I was old enough to get out of it. (Around age 22 because I lived with my parents till I graduated college. )They took money every week for the general collection, and an additional special collection for various things- bishop's drive, church repairs etc.The women's groups often had bake sales, or plant sales. The children had car washes.  All the proceeds went to the church. They provided church services only.No soup kitchen, no donated clothes closet, no work with good causes like Habitat with Humanity.  In all those years there was never an opportunity to help anyone. I thought that maybe I was in a couple of selfish, self-centered parishes. Then a few years ago. I spoke to my brother in Texas, and he told me that he was having trouble finding a service project for his kids to do.  He checked all the Catholic Churches in the area and they had nothing.  So he branched out and found a Unitarian church that lead a group of teens to do home repairs on the Pine Ridge Reservation. And the next year they went on a service trip to repair homes in New Orleans with a Presbyterian church.Apparently churches interpret the Lord's words differently.

When Should Someone Offer Gas Money?

My friend and I have known each other for 12 years now. We're 20 years old and she has a car and I don't. Right now I'm not working and she's on welfare so she gets money (in the thousands) every month. Well she comes to my house and picks me up all the time and her parents (who she lives with) complain about her giving people (specifically me) rides for free.

I need to know the ettiquette if someone picks you up do you need to give them gas money? I mean if I had a car I wouldn't ask her for gas money cuz we know each other like that. Oh and the only times I give her gas money is if I ask her to come and get me which is rarely.

Help cuz not having a job already makes me feel like a bum and her parents saying stuff makes me feel worse.
