What software do I need to use novation launchpad S?
I just got one for Christmas and I can't open an alp file for the demo project or anything. What software can be used to open those alp files or what do i have to do to set it up?

Yes it can be used in tandem with instruments with the correct software, but it does not produce sound in any way, nor does it work without a computer. If your asking WHAT a Novation Launchpad is, it is a MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) controller, and is commonly used as a way to controller parameters on DAW(Digital Audio Workstation) software such as Ableton, FL Studio, and Cubase.

Using Notivation Launchpad in FL Studio with FPC PLEASE HELP.?
I asume you're reffering to a NOVATION Launchpad. I doubt it would do any good in FL Studio as it was designed specifically for Ableton. Open preferences in Ableton and select the midi tab. Choose Novation Launchpad from the dropdown list. The launchpads primary function was for launching clips in Abletons session view. If you wanted to use it as a drum pad controller you may have been better off with an Akai MPC 500. It maps on to ableton like a glove.
