TIPS to make your fish more rounder and fatter:

Try to feed your goldfish 2-3 times a day as long as the food are being eaten within 5-7 minutes it is fine.

Try feeding the goldfish with small amount of food each time and feed them often as the intestine of the goldfish are slower in digestion as compare to other fish.

If the fish is omnivorous like goldfish you can feed it with mix diet as sometime the fish might get bored with its food:

1.small live frozen food
2.red worm
3.bloodworm
4.small aquatic invertebrates
5.food flake
6.green foods

And also supplement it with vitamins to enriched it diet.

Hope my answer do help you.

Why did my goldfish suddenly get VERY fat?

Double check that you are feeding the goldfish the proper amount of food per day, as it maybe overeating, as usually pets will just keep on eating after they are full

regarding your other question you might want to ask someone that works in a pet store for advice on that

Is my goldfish pregnant?

Goldfish don't become pregnant like guppies. They don't bear live offspring. They lay eggs which, if fertilized, hatch in 2 to 3 days. See first link below.

If your goldfish is not just fat, (Yes, fish can get fat.) you should consider a disease as the most likely cause of the swelling. While egg binding is a possibility if there is no male goldfish in the tank, the fish is best left alone to allow the eggs to be reabsorbed by its body. Dropsy is the most common cause of swelling in goldfish. Dropsy is a general term for the swelling, and is most often caused by an internal bacterial infection, or an internal parasitic infestation.

There is also an external parasitic infestation known as Costia. Fish constantly gulping at the surface is a bad sign. Most often it means they are having trouble getting enough air. External parasites often lodge in the gills of fish and interfere with oxygen transfer. Since you only recently bought your goldfish it is likely it was already infected at the store. Having another small tank for new fish is advisable to insure your regular aquarium stays disease free. The crowded conditions of the store aquarium make it easy for diseases and parasites to transfer between fish. Read the second link below for more info on fish diseases, and try searching "fish disease" for other links to this info.

My goldfish are really fat! Is that bad? Can they explode?

Dropsy

SYMPTOMPS :This disease is characterised by a swollen or hollow abdomen . A concentration of fluid in the body tissues and cavities causes the fish's abdomen to become swollen and appear bloated. Swollen areas may exhibit a 'pine-cone' appearance caused by the fish's scales sticking out. You can best see this by viewing your fish from the top. Fish may also stop feeding, appear off-colour, become listless and/or lethargic, have sunken eyes, and hang at the top or stay at the bottom of the aquarium.

TREATMENT :Dropsy is not very contagious; however, if a fish is diagnosed with dropsy, it is important to remove it from the aquarium as soon as possible. If ther are multiple fish, treat the afflicted fish in a specially established "sick tank" (Quarantine). Dropsy can spread from the ill fish, possibly causing stress among the other fish in the tank community. This extra stress may make the others vulnerable to dropsy or other forms of disease.Treatment may consist of antibiotics targeting the causative agent. They work best in the very early stages of dropsy. A more hands-on approach is to raise the aquarium's temperature a few degrees - slightly higher than usual. Adding Epsom salts (Magnesium sulfate) to the water at (a rate of 20 mg/L) helps to encourage the fish to expel unnecessary damaging fluids.
