My dad has an affair?
A couple days ago I found out that my dad has an affair. My mum doesn't know. I'm so disappointed of him. The worst is that this isn't his first time cheating. Years ago, when I was little, he cheated on mum, she found out, they nearly got divorced but evetually my mum forgave him. Now the story is repeating. I know that if my mum finds out they are going to get divorced 100%. But also my mum will be extremely hurt. She took his first affair pretty hard, she lost a lot of her confidence and became more insecure. I don't know what to do. Should I tell my mum? Call me an egoist but I don't want them to get divorced. I know they should but I just don't want. Some days ago my parents got into a fight (for a completely different reason) and I defended my dad a lot. My mum said that she doesn't want to live with dad anymore (she sometimes says this when they fight so I don't think she means it, she is very emotional) and I did something awful. Because I was angry and scared that they can get divorced (the reason was stupid and I didn't know about my dad cheating yet) I said that I would prefer to live with dad. I regret saying this so much, I didn't mean it but she got hurt. After that I apologized a milion times, than she forgave me and my dad. The same night I found about my dads affair and I felt awful for even defending him a bit. What should I do, should I tell my mum or first talk to dad and what should I say to him?

First, theres nothing wrong with your picture, its pretty, dont pay any attention theres alot of jealous people on here... I Know its hurtful but you really need to tell your mom, she will find out sooner or latter and its better to find out now, your dads getting by with having your mom and something on the side and its not fair to your mom, she thinks everythings fine when its not, I know you said that the last time it hurt the whole family but its something you gotta do, dont let your mom be a fool for him any longer, she deserves to get out of that mess and find someone that will love and respect her like she desreves...they say once a chreater allways a cheater and its usually true, he got by with it once and now hes feeling like the cat that ate the canary because hes getting his cake and eating it to....I would tell my mom right away, talk to your brothers and sisters and just explain to then how your mom being with your dad is hurtful to her not a good thing, im sure when they realise what your dads about they will see its for the best for her to be away from him....good luck and I hope your mom finds hapiness soon

he is a good person who doesn't forget his responsibilities.....he takes a lot of care of my mom nd me.....but i am completly upset about his affair......he attends her call in front of me nd speaks as if he is speaking to his friend.....and when i asks him who is that person in call he says he spoke with his friend......am helpless with this situation....i am 19 years old....i need few of ur advices ...should i discuss with him regarding this topic....and i found out her mobile number even......what should i do??? should i speak with him or speak with her?????
My sister is getting remarried to a man that she had an affair with...can this last?
I'm concerned about my sister, and she has asked my advise. She was married with two kids for 10 years. Seemed like an average marriage. Somehow she found herself in an affair with a man at work who was also married and had two kids. They decided together that they were both going to leave their spouses so they could be together. She knows that during the seperation from their spouses that he was lying to her and was still spending some time with his wife and still having sex with her. His wife divorced him, and he soon asked my sister to marry him. She says they are truly in love...but how can a marriage like this last? It's kind of disgusting how she posts all kinds of photos, and constant comments on facebook about how much she loves him, calls him all these endearing names...it really seems like overkill. What is that all about? She's like 40 and is acting like a kid, s it just a show? They both lied and cheated on their spouses, and destroyed two families in the process. I told her to run...not walk the other direction, but she says they are soulmates!? Any advise out there from people who have been in a cheating situation...can this possibly work??
Mom had an affair... with my uncle!!?
i know it's not my fault, but i feel like i could of prevented this from happening... i know it sounds strange. my dad is living with one of his friends for now to think about what happened. so now it's me, my younger sister and older brother now living with my mom. my sister doesn't really understand it all and my brother is just... well, not really talking. thx every 1 for your support. do u guys think i should talk to my mom about this?
Does an affair always end badly?
Yes, my mom's high school friend had an affair with a married man. He left his wife and they married. They are still together today. But I think more often than not it does come to an end. If it was such a sure and wonderful thing, people would leave their spouses first.
Father is 53, overweight, and feeling chest pains- worried!?
My dad is very overweight, has been for a long time. His eating habits aren't even bad, but he just keeps gaining weight. He has a high stress job, and he has problems with depression, so I suspect that is why he keeps gaining. He excersizes every day, but recently he confessed to my mom that he has been feeling some chest pain. I don't know how bad, but what exactly could that be? Signs of a heart attack coming, heart disease? I'm trying to get him to lose more weight, but it's easier said then done. He lives about an hour away, so I don't see him every day. What could I do to try and motivate or help him? I don't want him to drop dead in the near future, I have two kiddos that love him very much. Any advice will be apreciated.
