Will I get hired at Starbucks if I don't drink coffee?
I'm looking for my first official job, and I noticed Starbucks seems to have good benefits and fair pay for new workers, and I'd like to apply. Only thing is, aside from my general lack of work experience, I don't actually drink coffee or know much about it. Will this look bad on an application? I'm perfectly willing to work hard and can take on any shifts available (very flexible schedule), and I think the environment would be good for me. But would they hire someone who doesn't drink coffee? I would appreciate it if only those who have/are working at Starbucks replied to this. Also any helpful interview tips/suggestions would be most welcomed.
Starbucks frappuccino have coffee?
There are two different kinds of Frappuccinos: blended cremes and blended coffees. Cremes don't contain coffee - they taste like milkshakes >>some include the green tea, double chocolate chip, strawberries in cream, and the popular vanilla bean Blended coffee fraps are well, blended with coffee. >>some include the popular caramel frap, mocha, java chip (mocha with chocolate chips) and cafe vanilla. Also, another frappuccino-type drink that does not contain coffee is a blended strawberry lemonade. It isn't listed on the menu but it can be done - its quite popular at the store I work at. What Drink Should I Order At Starbucks, If I Don't Like Coffee?
Heey! A lot of my friends have been raving about starbucks. I have some money and I'm going to the movies tomorrow night, and since starbucks is right beside the theater I decided I should see what its all about. One problem. I HATE COFFEE. I love hot chocolate, anything minty and chocolatey as well so if that helps you any.
Why do people think coffee at starbucks costs $5?
I am tired of hearing people say things like "I don't go to starbucks cause it costs $5 for regular coffee." It does not. It is less than $2 even for a venti. 7/11, McDonalds, etc. are more expensive. So how did this confusion ever start? Even the premium espresso drinks would have a hard time reaching $5 unless you added shots and whatnot, and a regular 'ole coffee is again less than $2. I just don't understand this confusion.

lol..... I bring up this point every day to friends and co-workers. My take on it though, I see people yelling about 2.87 a gallon gas, but they have no problem paying 1.59 for a quart of bottled water!!!!! At least gas is a refined product that needs some work to produce. Water is....... water...... Uh, $1.59 a quart, PEOPLE!?!?!??!?
What's your favorite Starbucks coffee drink?
Well for starters, Marina K - you can have PEPPERMINT ALL YEAR 'ROUND. So if you like peppermint fraps, peppermint white mochas, peppermint mochas, etc. those are all year---not just for a limited time around Christmas. They only "advertise" and make it seem like its only for Christmas! =D My favorite hot drink is the caramel macchiatto or a caramel latte with drizzle. I also love the cinnamon dolce latte (tastes like a liquid cinnamon bun) and the peppermint white chocolate mocha. I find it very sweet so I ask for half sweet. (A grande would normally get 4 pumps of peppermint and 4 pumps of white mocha so for half-sweet you only get 2 pumps of each - which is still quite a bit of syrup). My favorite cold drink is either the double chocolate chip frap blended creme (like a chocolate milkshake) or the STRAWBERRY BLENDED LEMONADE. It's not on the menu but they have a button for it. It's really good! It's just strabwerry puree, lemonade, and ice blended together so its like a slushie. Really nice in the summertime.
